@@leiilo The "Crack Marketing Team" was first mentioned at WWDC 2014, and I believe has been a recurring joke ever since. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w87fOAG8fjk.html
Remember the heated phonecall scene from the Jobs movie? MacOS Sonoma's intro transition kind felt like the full circle moment, especially when one may have ever come across the iconic Bliss wallpaper.
I just realized, in sequoia, they were talking ab Bliss (windows xp wallpaper) So if you didnt know, Bliss is a hill in California that is a vineyard and also VERY POPULAR. "That doesn't look like a vineyard!" Well, the picture that Microsoft used of bliss has a bit of backstory. So there's this photographer (i forgor name) and he took the picture on a day in 1998. This guy really knew how to do his shots and he picked the right moment. The vineyard had an insect infestation for a while and it got took down (i think i may have forgot some of this the video is from michael mjd if you want to know the full backstory) and it just rained a few hours before the photographer took it so it didn't really look like a vineyard anymore but a grassy blank hill. So that's the backstory (atleast as i remember it from the video)
say whatever you want but Apple’s marketing team is truly the best They don’t piss on other brands for small mistakes (cough couch Samsung cough cough) but instead just do their own thing.
Well, I thought this naming scheme would end in 2023 (as said by Craig at WWDC 2013), but no, it was so good that they decided to continue it. So they were able to find more California landmarks than they were able to find cats.
"They felt a deep kinship with anything that could get that high" Perhaps they spend a bit too much time with macOS Weed (iykyk) just like they did with macOS High Sierra.
