I like the way you teach. As a person who’s very new to macrame I got frustrated trying to learn knots, but you make it easier to understand. Thanks so much for these tutorials. I really needed this in order to keep up my new hobby. I also find the tutorials you post on IG very useful for me. It takes my frustration away. (No, if only I could find somewhere to purchase the right cord for projects instead of wasting money on the wrong ones).

I suggest you to use a cork board to make the macrame instead of doing it on the vase or cups,

thank you for sharing. first of all this video could be made just in five minutes, I skipped most of the video. secondly you ended up with a bulge of cords which occupies a lot of space in such a small basket. I suggest to insert a line of cord in which other cords wrap around it with double half hitch knot where your basket sits,don't cut the new rope ,use the rest of the new rope spiral up it with the same method to fill the bottom part of your basket but in each turn you should cut some cords, or just use half hitches. Or the better way is to start from the bottom, forming circles, till the edge of your vase, then start with the square knots, just like the way that basket-workers do.
