I watched your single hat hanger tutorial. You did that one from a hanging position. The double hanger a clipboard was used. What was your reason for the different method?
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
There is no reason really, it is just personal preference, but either pattern could be made on a clipboard or from a hanging position. Sometimes if I feel like sitting down with my work on my lap then the clipboard is a nice option.
@stacycrook755
@stacycrook755 2 года назад
I think I figured out why you used the clip board because it helped you measure
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
@@stacycrook755 yes that is also a good advantage of the clipboard! :)

Hey just wondering if you have a triple hat hanger tutorial
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
Hi Nicole. Sorry I do not, however you could use this pattern and simply repeat the last steps to create a third section. You will just need to add an extra metre of string for this additional section.

When you say circumference of the hat do you mean the brim or the part where your head goes?
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
Hi Rebecca, I am referring to the circumference of the part where your head goes 😊

What is the total length of the hat hanger?
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
The finished piece is just over 1 metre long!

loved the pattern however my two hats overlapped when hung, next time I will need to make it longer
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
Thanks for watching. Oh no! Depending on the size of the hats brim they would potentially overlap. You could extend the size of the bottom tier to help with that 😊

How long should my rope be to make this hat holder
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm Год назад
You will need the following cords: - 4x 4m cords - 1x 30cm cord
@ednalottering6544

Thanks for the tutorial. Can you give us an estimate how long the initial rope length must be for a project. For example. 4x length of finished product.
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm 2 года назад
Hi Edna. The finished piece is just over 1 metre, so you could say that the strings are 4x the length of the finished product! If you are looking for tips to calculate how much cord you need for a project, my other video might be helpful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BtqeOnzODpM.html

You said you used 3mm, but the print says 4mm. Does it matter?
@KnotCalm
@KnotCalm Год назад
It shouldn’t matter too much as the difference is small between 3 and 4mm. I definitely used a 3mm for the example.
