This is a life saver video. I'm doing a challenge now and trying to get my protein (I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian) has been crazy. I'm doubling my Seitan or Boca grounds and it's taking me forever to eat as I really don't eat a lot in volume. I'm just bad with too many calories in foods. That's how I tend to gain weight so this is fantastic. Thank you.

Wish we had that yoghurt in Aus! Chobani is still runny like u said, Great informative vlog :) there seems to be heaps more range of low calorie/macro friendly options in US!

I really appreciate this kind of review. We are all always looking for awesome ways to enjoy our food and stay on track. Unfortunately I'm allergic to wheat, eggs, and very sensual to liquid dairy, msg and nitrates so not much I could eat with your spread but those no noodles and the yesso icecream are worth the bloat!

Great ideas. Fage is the best yogurt! I’ve been eating it for years. Idk fat free cheese is pretty gross stuff. Def an acquired taste 🤪. I’m buying that cheese dip though! I’ve obviously had it before but Ive never thought about eating it while dieting.

Even when I am eating 1900-2100 calories in my reverse dieting, I don’t have enough room in my meals for additional ingredients like cheese dips, etc. I prefer to have more substance for satiety

With almost any product I have purchased the past 10 years of my life I have made a point to buy Organic / locally sourced. I am about to start reverse dieting and follow your food suggestions. It does freak me out knowing I am going to be buying mostly non-organic foods in an effort to fit foods into my macros. Have you ran across any studies or prof that Organic is actually “healthier” or preventative towards disease or have I been dooped thinking I was eating healthier ha. Sorry for the lengthy comments, and thank you for any answers 🙏🏼

I freak out too when I can’t find the organic version of certain foods, thought it was just only me. Chemical is chemical and they can’t be any good ingested or for the environment. Most veggies especially leafy greens and most fruits with no peel or skin, especially berries, I’d go organic or I won’t eat it unless there’s nothing else. Dairy, meat and eggs I’ll try my best for pasture raised/grass-fed... you just gotta do your best, esp when it’s an item that’s consistent in your diet.

Not time to cook rice today okei to have same amount of carbs in ricekakes instead? Etc should have 100g rice but switched to 100g plain ricekakes

If you’re comparing 100 g by weight then your probably not going to be equating carbohydrates. 100g rice cakes will have 77g carbs while 100g if cooked rice only has ~35g

karina ribis there are actually quite a few. It’s not actually erythritol itself that’s a FODMAP. It actually interferes with fructose absorption , and so anyone with fructose intolerance is going to suffer from products which are high in erythritol

When it comes to creamer the sugar-free has 1g of fat per serving versus the fat free creamer having 5g of sugar per serving. When dialing in your macros / reverse dieting should I paying much attention to sugar consumption or is it mainly just the three macro nutrients I focus on and try to get foods that are relatively low? Also, would it be true to subtract the 5g of sugar per serving out of your daily carbs or is that a lie I read online lol?

Depends how much of it you’re having, For Example, If you’re consistently having x2serves i.e. 45 ml (2g carb + 2g fat) Can you consistently don’t track then just know that you’re probably consuming and additional 30kcals which is a very insignificant amount and would not be the cause for any major fluctuations in bodyweight. Know if you or someone like me who has several coffee today with a total of 120ml (8 serves) - that’s 106 untracked calories, so now if your maintenance calories are in the 1500 kcal range, then your beginning to push outside the area of maintenance calories. if you aren’t tracking this and your trying to drop weight, it may be the reason for not making progress
