2:06 I have the same issue with close up shots... You can see the dust which you normally can't see with your eyes and it looks less appealing when doing product reviews. edit: I see you talked about it later on..

Hi, great video, You are the only guy that goes into so much detail with macro. Can you please help me out? Whenever I use macro, I notice that the 0.5 and 1.0 are perfect, but the second I use 3.0, there is a lot of noise (on normal 3.0 there isnt). How do I reduce noise so my 3.0 macro looks like yours? Thanks!
Same. When I use then macro mode when I notice the yellow tulip my photos look worse. Like more blurry. So I haven't figured out how to take good macro photos yet.
Note:Was being disingenuous, this video showed me that Macro Mode should just be avoided and photos shot in “normal” modes. P.S The Macro Mode is active when the yellow tulip icon is displayed. In my experience, it gets closer but the amount of noise and shake is unmanageable.
@@BenClaremont Was there an update that changed how that worked? The macro icon also works as a macro mode “lock”, which at the time you recorded the video you said you couldn’t do. 🤷♂️
