The big finale of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade each year is the appearance of Santa Claus ushering in the Christmas holiday season. The song was apparently written especially for the parade and is not available anywhere but has become increasingly popular each year. I don't even know the name of it. So I performed it best I could on the Yamaha DX7II synthesizer, Hammond organ, EMU Proteus and various Studio One instruments and without all those announcer interruptions. A portion of the original song sung by the children closes it out. Merry Christmas to all. And to all...BELIEVE!

The Thanksgiving Day the parade ended without this song, I actually sent Macy's customer service a message asking why it wasn't played, the representative wasn't able to find out why, although they did also say they were disappointed at it being replaced. This was the perfect way to end the parade every year!

So sad they’ll never feature this again! They should put it on a CD sold exclusively in Macy’s stores. I’d be there!

I believe the song is called 'Here Comes Dear Santa Claus.' And yes, it's not available commercially. This has always been my favorite part of the parade. Good job on recreating the fun and excitement.

I wish I could find it on Spotify or somewhere it's such a nice song look forward to hearing it each year. Hope some year to make it up in person to see and hear.

i wish macy's would made a cd and have this full studio song on the cd but sadly they never did it and i think in 2019 the song was never played again!
