This was such an amazing episode!!! The Mad Max 2 Museum is without doubt completely UNMISSABLE!!! Hubby and I sat glued to the screen listening to Adrian and his enthusiasm and passion for this amazing tribute to Mad Max in such an awesome corner of the world. The Sunset camel trek was just gorgeous, your drone captures were just breathtakingly beautiful....and yes Tourism Australia, sit up and take notes! Jasper is nailing it!. Thanks once again, Katie, Paul and Jasper. Great episode!!! (and parked up in South East Qld in the unrelenting rainin out new van due for a couple of fine tunes with our caravan manufacturer)
Thank you Margo, we loved this episode too and the Mad Max experience is such a highlight. We had a wonderful time getting to know Adrian and hearing his stories, and it was so much more than we had anticipated! We have family in SEQ and understand it’s been very wet! How has your van been holding up?
Just nope to the emu I’m terrified of them. What an amazing adventure. The mad max museum looks fantastic. Thanks again for showing us Australian destination gems 💎
Great video. We loved Silverton and all of its characters. You brought back a lot of memories for us.Thank you.How good is that farm stay! we"d go back just to experiance that !!
Beautiful Toto! How special! We have been talking to our 2 year old recently about the importance of leaving animals in the wild alone and not touching/feeding them etc so her first comment was ‘mum, we not touch emus!’ 🤣 I had to reassure her that Toto was special and he wasn’t wild! Lol Looks like we’ll be paying Silverton a visit to meet him! 🙏
Cheers Kevin, you’ve caught up to our latest episode!! Huge effort 👍 Adrian is certainly inspiring and passionate - it was great to have the opportunity to speak with him
@@TheFeelGoodFamily Yes it is, very inspiring, but having said that, never forget that your own story is inspiring too !!. Also full credit to the time-lapse of the night sky, that wouldn't have been a 10 minute job !!!!. Bright enough to throw shadows out there, amazing !!. Cheers.
Thank you Joanne, and to you too! Yes the Easter Bunny has an amazing ability to find us in the van wherever we are 😆 Have you managed to travel somewhere for Easter? We’ve seen so many people out camping....just awesome!
Hi Folks! Currently binge-watching your series whilst I'm on holidays. Would've been out and about except the wet weather and the Covid hysteria has messed up our plans. We were going to head for Alice Springs via the Donohue/Plenty Highway, but I think we'd have to swim some of it! Ah well, that's life I guess! We were in the Broken Hill/Silverton area about 3 years ago. Unfortunately we were constrained for time, so could only spend a couple of days there. We are definitely planning to return with a lot more time up our sleeves after I retire (around Xmas 2021). This is an amazing area, as you say, and really deserves a good look around. All the best to your family, and maybe we'll catch up with you somewhere down the track next year!
Hi Don, we’re happy you found us and hope you’re enjoying the content! The rain has been incredible in some parts lately hasn’t it! Did you get up to Tibooburra or Cameron Corner on your travels? We were hoping to get up there a few weeks ago and then the skies opened and about 130ml of rain fell overnight!! Hoping we can squeeze in a trip sometime soon, before we head further west 👍
What a cool place! Not sure we'll see all of Australia at this rate, my list is growing! 😂 Gee...and the winner is An...thony. Had me excited for a nanosecond 🤞🏻🤣 Seriously tho congrats to Anthony and Monique!
We skipped the caramel ride and didn't do animal farm. I would love for my kids to see emu up close, I'll add this on my list when we going there soon.
I owned it up until 2018 while we were on our 2nd Mystery Box rally (look it up) in it raising funds for Cancer Council. Massive fun but it gave up the ghost between Arkaroola and Silverton. We left it with John Dynan for his artistry when he gets the inspiration
I was asked to help mad max movie. Last scene. Just off lancefield road Victoria. I was in the cfa. If you turn into lancefield road. The first road on right and then first bend over looking a bridge. The saw or bang scene.
