Thanks for the tips. I picked up a pair of these at a thrift store a while back and they've been my only pair of footwear since. It's good leather and I try to take care of it.

Great series! When your polish cracks, will more polishing help, or is it time to strip and start over?

Strip and start over. Trust me. You don't want to deal with that.

If it's a very small crack you can polish over it! But big cracks, polishing over them just postpones the problem.
