She is literally one of the most simple villains DreamWorks has ever created. She has no tragic backstory, no ulterior motives, no sinister plot to take over the world, all she wanted was _”ze līon”_ yet she still managed to make an impact and have a place in our memories because of how terrifying and how much of a badass she was. 💀💀
The penguins were able to manage to catch her and her men off-guard everytime they took action, so not invincible but she is relentless as she is efficient in her hunt for Alex and the others.
Didn't she crash through multiple buildings and jump over 20 acres off her scooter? Not to mention she literally healed her injured officers with singing!
I refuse to believe Dubois is entirely human. partly because of the fact that she is completley indestructible and unstoppable, and partly because human villains almost never have a theme this good.
also not to mention she used the mere power of her voice to heal the other animal control officers, who, at the time, were unconcious and on life support.
i remember she ran though several walls when the helicopter-plane hybrid was escaping i remember her sniffing the floors like a dog and figuring out imposible info and she took a death dart to the face and survived way to say devil
Captain Chantel Dubois is the best villain in Madagascar because she's memorable, powerful, is locked on target, murderous, always finds a way and she is just threatening
Imagine if Dubois gives up on catching animals because they are so boring and starts hunting Cybertronians…… I can already hear the PTSD of both Autobots and Decepticons
For me Madagascar 3 was great. I wish to see more DuBois, I don't think she was defeated that easy. Remember to what she was capable. She just smashed through walls and windows. Also very interesting is that she resembles evil clown. Even in the book Stefano called her like that.
They should do a movie about her backstory before Madagascar 3 because I would like to know where she got her hate of animals from. Now that would be a interesting movie that I would watch.
She's probably the only memorable thing about Madagascar 3 to me. I've never truly known how to feel about it, considering how average Madagascar 3 was as a whole.
Ahh... Disagree. Paris, Gare de Lyon, 1985 or thereabouts. My mum and me, simultaneously looking at the platform train sign: to Zagreb. And then we looked at each other, for a second, tempted... That's what Euro-centric means people. Except in our dream there was no war and no oppression. We were so good at dreaming.
@@blackbun130 If you think that, I and many others wouldn't put it past ya for remembering a majority of the sequence. But imo, I remember one thing from it. Some one did a really huge backflip, Alex most likely? Wasn't too memorable for 12 year old me. Though in that respect, I also probably wasn't the target demo for this movie 🤷♂️. I know end of movie dance sequences are an indicator of a movie being aimed at elementary age children or younger.
My top 10 best dreamworks villain 1. Fairy Godmother from Shrek 2 2. Death from Puss in boots 2 3. Dubois from Madagascar 3 4. Lord Shen from Kung fu panda 2 5. The Verminator from Over the hedge 6. Titan from Megamind 7. Nana from Madagascar 2 8. Grimmel from How to train your dragon 3 9. Galaxhar from Monsters vs aliens 10. Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda
Imagine you are racoon and you bit someone . Then you hear : " Oh poor poor animals. You should of never left ze forest. NOW YOU DEAL WITH ME " acompanied by this masterpiece.
@@xekussy That's what DuBois did in the movie and the commentor has mentioned that she is his/her/all-the-112-genders from the movie. Yep, that's concerning, since everybody knows that animal control doesn't kill animal, but DuBois did.
