0:47 When the Power Rangers movie is without a shadow of a doubt the best movie on your resume. Madame Web wishes us an early Halloween as the words of ISB supervisor Blevin ring out in all our minds "It took the combined ingredients of idiocy, ineptitude, and total disengagement for this farce to have reached the full apex of incredulous disaster." I love how both Marvel and DC have taken a massive L at the beginning of the year with Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, and this disaster.
Worse than Morbius. At least that one had some decent action and Matt Smith's villain was 10x better than whatever this one was supposed to be. Horrible acting.
Madame Web?! More like why did they even make this movie if they haven't even introduced their Spiderman yet and they change her powers, if you wanted a character to have these powers they could have just created a new one, in the comics Madame Web looks like a corpse, here she is Dakota Johnson! I hope that you liked my revised title. 👼🏿
The Madame Web film can’t connect with Tom Holland or Garfield or Tobey. Since Tobeys Spider-Man would have to be born in the very late 80’s, then Garfield in the 90’s. Ok what about Tom Holland well his Spider-Man is born in August 2001. While Peter was born in Madame Web at the Ripe year of 2003… so looks like we’re getting a new Spider-Man Actor I watched the film so try to argue I’m wrong 😂
I feel bad for the director. She went from directing episodes of Dexter, Jessica Jones and Succession to ... this. She was supposed to direct Star Trek 4 but that movie got scrapped. Now this is her feature directorial debut.
If Sony can't just take Tom Holland to their universe, why don't they just give us a new Spider-Man who's in his own separate timeline/universe from the MCU just like they did with Tobey, Andrew and Spider-Verse? I'd much rather that than these pointless garbage solo villain-but-not-really-villain movies if they really wanna milk their Spider-Man rights.
Well that would just be the common sense thing to do would'nt it. It's not like they've done two movies propping up lesser known spiderman charachters or something. Hell even Spider Ham could work wonders for them right now if they wanted to.
I feel the same about Dune! One critic just said that it was better than Dark Knight and Empire Strikes Back, and, boy, did my eyes roll all the way back into my skull. When critics do too much, I become skeptical.
Sony should have made actual spin-offs flims from the spiderverse characters to make movies out of them. Like Spider-gwen, Spider-man Noir, Spider-man 2099. And Spider-Ham. But I guess sony is afraid of the expiration date of losing the Spider-man movie rights. And animation movies takes time to make.
I was so shocked that they were only in their suits for 1 minute of this entire film... also sis you save lives for a living but you're drowning in the water... and the awful dialog "Do you need anything?... No I have everything I need right here.." 😵💫😵💫
I enjoyed this one more than Across the Spider-Verse! Entertaining and kind of funny. This and Argylle are both better than the reviews give them credit for.
Atleast I don't have to stream Starz for this. 😂😅 .. the director should have atleast leaned into an entire 30 minutes of the movie dedicated to putting Spider-hotties in sexy outfits, BUT NO, not even that! 😅😂
To me, the characters are weak and the acting is very bad. Although, the visuals are great but it is not my favorite marvel movie. The villain was not that scary and strong and the story was quite predictable. I was hyped at the beginning, but disappointed at the end.
Good lord this movie was bad. The best experience I had was eating the popcorn I bought at the concession stand. Dialogue written by a high schooler, awful villain, virtually no action scenes, they HAD to keep reminding you it was in 2003 (didn’t matter at all). Dakota Johnson’s character was so unlikeable. Sydney Sweeney was the best in the movie but that’s not saying much. Also every premonition gave away big parts of the movie so I became disinterested. I guess they are setting up for a sequel but please…no.
Just got done watching Madame Web via CAM Version & this is the worst Theatrical Released Superhero & Comic Book Movie that I've ever seen in my life. I feel terrible for a lot of the actors involved, because none of them deserve to have this movie in their filmography. Sony Pictures should be ashamed of themselves for making this movie & at this point Kevin Fiege & Marvel Studios need to take the Spider-Man rights away from Sony, because they clearly can't handle having Spider-Man or any Superhero at all.
let's not forget that dakota johnson was chose to be in three horrible movies, so it's just right up her alley, if you know what i mean. this is her thing
I know it's stupid, but I'm actually kind of developing a respect for the unwavering commitment it seems in making a Spider-Man cinematic universe without an actual Spider-Man. Although maybe I'm confusing respect with pity. It's hard to say.
I know that I'm going to hate this atrocity, especially given the fact that Sony allowed the SAME WRITERS OF MORBIUS TO WRITE THIS MOVIE. At this point, Kevin Fiege needs to take the Spider-Man rights away from Sony. Also, I'm only going to watch this movie for Sydney Sweeney and maybe Isabela Merced. Thank God, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, & Isabela Merced's careers will be safe despite being in this shit ass movie.
I still havent forgiven you for your overly positive Mr&Mrs Smith review😂. Goddamn that show sucked ass, ESPECIALLY the banter between the leads outside of the action. Mrs Smith is so INCREDIBLY unlikeable. As for Madame Web it is giving off strong so bad its good vibes.
I did like that movie, certainly a metric fucktonne more than the show!!! The therapy episode (6?) was one of the worst episodes of a tv show ive seen in a long time and stopped my hatewatch of this rubbish in its tracks! But each to their own, I'm glad you genuinely enjoyed it!@@AustinBurke
There was 1 subtle reference to Final Destination 2 in the movie where Cassie is driving behind a log truck. That was about it. There is not much else to like. It was super meh.
The poster looks interesting and I would like to see some cool female action films but since this came out in february with no real marketing I was worried. Imdb score of 3,6/10 is telling me the rest I need to know lol. This will be on streaming very soon I guess.
I kind of want to see this, but it looks pretty boring. I don't really care about it beyond the slight possibility that it might be entertainingly bad.
Thanks for saving my time and my money at the same time with your review for this trash of a movie. I didn't see this movie and I have no attention to see this movie at all. The trailer and marketing for this movie made this movie look god awful. When I saw the trailer for this trash, I was lost for words for how bad it looks. It looks like high budgeted fan made CW Show but with Fifty Shades Of Grey, Spiderman IP and CW Titans into this one huge pile of steaming garbage of a movie. Plus they think if they add some lovely and talented actress in the movie like Sydney Sweeney or Isabella Merced is gonna draw in the crowd, but they failed. Plus Isabella Merced is talented actress and it made me forgive me her performance in The Last Knight because this one is even worse. I thought her talented was wasted in that movie, but here she was even more wasted. I knew this movie is gonna suck and I will save my money for March and July for Kung Fu Pand 4, Godzilla X Kong, and of course Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes which the movie I'm really looking foward to the most. Don't waste your money on this piece of shit movie.
@@dariusmoore6586 I really do too because she is really good. Hell even in The Last Knight, the worst Transformers movie ever, she is somewhat good in that despite the script for that movie is terrible.
From the reviews I thought it was gonna be terrible. I watched it today, and somehow, shockingly, I was kinda pleasantly surprised? Of course it wasn’t like a great movie at all, but it wasn’t terrible at all either. I had very very low expectations and literally thought it was gonna be so bad. But, it turned out alright for me in my honest opinion. And it was soooo much better than Morbius. Morbius is still my least favourite. Also I love Dakota Johnson, she was fantastic in Madame Web
This movie reminded me of Final Destination but without the horror and without the gore. But definitely Final Destination vibes since she can predict deaths and Final Destination is like that
