I feel like if the movie could have been a bit longer (more time for character/relationship development, expanding on why the evils were evil, making the climax scene more complex) this movie could have been top notch. I loved the style and vibe, the writing was pretty good and I do think the acting was good. Also I loved the twist! I just wish things had been expanded on more, cuz they created such a cool world but we didn’t get to see much of it
Ok I know I'm like 4 years late but I just watched Sea Fever and I really liked it, probably because of the Irish connection though(I'm Irish) I do agree that if it had a bigger budget it would have been better. Great vid Austin
Im from 2024 and i think it was ok at the beginning but then when Erika bcm that bad girl n ignoring her friend made me really dislike her n pissed off, i did not expect the plot twist of it being her best friend that died hn , n i wished that moment Erika would change, spend more time with her n think bout her actions but...nothin n also wat kinda mom was Gia's mother , we never saw her, never showed how her mother made a funeral for her or grieved for her n the truck guy...i feel like he intended on killing them, a proper investigation wasnt done, Gia shouldve had a proper funeral with shedding of tears from her bestie, n it doesnt make sense that everyone at sko didnt notice she was gone , it just doesnt add up ...it wasnt planned out well enough for me , it left me with lots of questions n pity for Gia
So far my favourites are Incredibles, toy story, a bug's life and cars 🤩 I recently watched inside out 1 and 2, i really liked the first one, the second one was not as great as 1, but still pretty good movie

Hey please react to another Indian si-fi , comedy movie called Gaganachari. A dystopian comedy that takes place in the 2040's, where an apartment inhabited by three problematic bachelors soon becomes a haven for an extra-terrestrial female fugitive.

This movie was great, very different and something new. It nearly make me cry at a point but the English was a little wired becuase I had it in English and had English subtitles, the English didn't match the subtitles and sounded strange with most characters.
I'm not lying, I hated Gxk because even though it has more screentime for the monsters, it doesn't really showed much deep lore and has remained a LOT of secrets.
It's a character driven film that explores the relationships they have with each other. Its not a plot driven film with big set pieces and large scale conflicts. Its a film about very personal stakes and conflicts. Because it's character driven, it's important to let the characters develop on screen and become well rounded, even within their own frame of the film (extended takes to let us see the nuance of the performance). Because of that, it can feel slow to people who do not get on board with the characters or find any relatability. I would argue that the characters are very well rounded and fleshed out and relatable. I'm honestly shocked to hear that some people believed the characters were flat or underdeveloped. I think this is because they wanted more of the characters reacting to the plot itself, or the plot pushing on the characters. I think that having the characters instead reacting to other characters is a superior method of developing a character. The acting alone really sells everyone's internal conflicts coupled with the external conflicts they have with each other. Its basically a family drama, where the riding sets the atmosphere and mood. It's almost not even about riding.
I don't watch a lot of horror, but my favorite from the last five years is probably Skinamarink. Or Titane if it counts. I know they're not for everyone.
Greetings from 2024! I recently watched this movie. Agreed about the third act elevating the movie considerably. I don’t mind info dumps in my movies, especially if they’ve got an interesting twist. Would love to see a continuation of the ideas here, even if it’s unlikely to come to film. Thanks for the review!
