I can't stress enough how incredibly bad Kishimoto is at writing female characters. The strongest female character- Kaguya- was a lackluster villain at best with tactical and ninjustu prowess that doesn't even come close to grazing Madara's level and that's not even going into the actual depth that villains like Madara, Obito, Nagato and most of the Akatsuki, really have as characters which Kaguya just lacks. And we aren't even going into the positive female characters like Sakura, Hinata and the like. I think the only respectably strong and lovable female characters that he has written are Tsunade and Konan and they still aren't in the top 10 strongest characters in the anime or have some decent screentime although a case can be made for Tsunade (but I still think that she lacks meaningful screentime, she's a presence, sure, but not always a meaningful one) and poor Konan never really got any decent screentime except the flashback scenes which she shared with her Yahiko and Nagato and her last battle with Obito. Just sad.

@@zippyparakeet1074 The problem comes when we believe that a strong female character in power is good, just for that, a good female character is one that is well written, there are many well-written characters in naruto and there are many female characters too, ex: chiyo (a very well done character that fits very well in the work), tsunade (of the best written characters of kishimoto), konan (of the strongest of akatsuki), mei (kage level with a very strong kekkei genkai), temari, kushina, etc ... is need it to be adorable? wtf, also nobody forces to create characters like that, I do not understand evaluating a work just because there is a strong and adorable woman (?), I think they have a very big narcissism problem with that ... How di she disappointed him? The only way for him to get rid of her was by cutting her in half, and even so she didn't died and was able to keep the other 4 kages alive while in her lowest point. Tsunade is the only of all hokages who can take big bars and still overcome

@@findfefito because other than Hashirama's ability to regenerate and heal, she had nothing else to show as Hashirama's descendant. From anyone else's pov, Tsunade is no doubt one of the most powerful shinobis. Madara and Hashirama were just titans of their time. Hashirama was god tier in literally everything. Tsunade had nothing except the healing part of her ancestor. Hence Madara's disappointment. Hes fighting 5 Kages and revealed his full Susano'o which could literally wipe them all out with a single swipe. I doubt Tsunade's healing could withstand that kind of force that blows apart mountains. Her body would probably disintegrate if she takes a direct hit.

The seal and the byakugou are things that she only had after her time as a member of team 7, i wonder what made her become a legendary sannin because her biggest stuff wasnt existing at the time, she only had super strenght, medical knowledge and katsuyu......

@@findfefito so yes, my point stands. madara was disappointed. i never said Tsunade was weak she simply isnt on par to his expectations. Which is a fact cuz Hashirama was so much stronger. The title of 3 sannin doesn't mean squat against some of the strongest in the naruverse. Orochimaru was terrified of Itachi. Jiraiya lost to Pain. Tsunade would also lose to either of those opponents too. Lets not forget they were named the 3 sannin by Hanzo who took them on 3v1 and let THEM live.

Gaara and Mei haven't a high level taijutsu, Onoki also mostly use Ninjutsu, A is good at taijutsunecause of his speed but in my opinion the only kage to beat Madara with taijutsu would be Tsunade because she is the only taijutsu expert out of the five kages

I don’t know how true that is but I’d like to believe so. I know people go around saying Kishimoto said Itachi can beat Madara and that’s not true at all he never said that.

@@rioddd you didn't get the point. Try to understand my comment first before you reply. The 100 healings jutsu was only introduced at 330plus episode. Sakura's battle with Sasori was at episode 20plus and she does not have the jutsu yet. Tsunade clearly mentioned in her rule 4, that a medical ninja (or her student) who mastered the jutsu may break the first three rules which include that a medical ninja never engage battle. Did you get it?

@@Gualbi024 try to get my point too.. she wouldn't have been able to battle if tsunade hadn't trained her. Tsunade required the hundred healings to battle but she trained Sakura in such a way that she wouldn't require the power of the hundred healings.

True. So many of the women in naruto could've had better writing and put more into the show, but Kishimoto 1. Didn't care enough for them, and 2. Said he doesn't know how to develop female characters that well. So a lot of them were so watered down. Like Tsunade was a hard-core ninja even before heading the Medical Corp, and trained under 3rd hokage who could use all 5 main Chakra natures... and you telling me the only jutsu she knows is heal? Same with Sakura? She didn't have a Chakra nature?? She was also a genjutsu type kakashi said... she didn't learn any genjutsu?
