One thing that Kishi does really well, is when he wrote a character we havent met yet, hypes them up and has other characters talk about how powerful or amazing they are, when we do get to meet them in the story, he delivers and then some. Such a great fight and episode, and either by watching the anime or reading the manga, we knew Narutos parents were dead, and when this flashback started we knew nothing bad happened to him, but Kishi still managed to make us worry about these characters and built really good suspense. This whole section of the story is one of my favorites.
IKR Minato AND Madara(real one) were hyped up, Minato since the beginning of Naruto and Madara since the beginning of Shippuden and they really did more than what ANYONE could've thought of.
Minato was just too op to stay alive in the story lets be real :D within seconds he completely analyzed obitos moves and oneshot him and "took" the nine tails from him, Minato was on a complete different level.
@Imposter He has hashirama cells integrated to his body and I read someone said that he's been given the experience of living the life of madara, so all in all he's lived as madara and got the experience and doping with hashirama cells
@@bujubra2594 No, he already had his OP ability to became untouchable. The main thing is the speed of reaction and thinking, it was the matter of a moment to win the fight. And i guess Minato's natural talent was the fast thinking, reaction and analisys, and because of that they considered him as genius. Because he'd been able to learn jutsus fast and make desicions fast, and also that's why the best jutsu for him is flying raijin.
this is a 14 yr old obito physically augmented by Hashirama cells with all the memories/fight experiences of original Madara installed in him before his death. Do not give of age at this point of Obito. He experienced a full life cause of Madara. That dam sharingan ability is hax
Yeah, Minato was the boss till the day he died. Way above the league of his time. One of my all time favourite character, GOAT, yellow flash of Konoha.
@@gary9399 no, danzos body guards figured out kamui in a single encounter. and only reason why minato won is because he has a perfect counter to kamui, instant teleportation.
he wouldnt be as motivated as he was in the series, but he would probably learn the flying raijin and rasengan from his dad and probably would be OP asf
@@rishan_sir it's impossible for minato to recognize him anymore. He changed his voice and his growth spurt hit him. Don't even mention minato never would have thought obito would be so godamn powerful.
This is one of the coolest ,smartest and awesome short fights in naruto Believe it or not but minato is the cutest and most charming person i find in naruto
@@AshyBlasian he sort of was maybe like part hokage because he was included in the the five kage summit I mean I don’t want to start a debate but it was trying to be joke but I guess you’d right it fine
@@jgvideos4750 danzo was hokage candidate, therefore he was at the summit. IF he had lived and tsunade didnt wake up he would have been hokage so in a way you are both right :)
@@teaandwinewithmira3301 What the fuck are you talking about? Kushinas favourite was Obito, not Rin. She admitted it while talking to Minato in their house. Kushina was talking about his students and how Obito wasn't a good student and the conversation went on until Minato said outright that Obito was her favorite because they were very similar.
@@teaandwinewithmira3301 Kushina liked Obito a lot and she even hoped that if she had a son, he would grow up to be like Obito. She liked his personality very much, for his care for others.
@@teaandwinewithmira3301 Watch the episodes before they went to war. Especially the one when Kushina appears with a food basket right before they go away.
@@alexwestford5874 Yes, and it was the 2nd Hokage who developed the teleportation jutsu and the Senju clan was at war with Uchiha. So it makes sense that it counters the Sharingan.
Let's see; 1) Orochimaru wouldn't have a chance to invade Konoha 2) Pain wouldn't have a chance to invade Konoha 3) Itachi wouldn't visit Konoha 4) Jiraiya might be still alive But 1) Naruto would be less stronger than he is now 2) All village still fighting with each other 3) Akatsuki might capture all Jinchuuriki except Kyubi
If I remember correctly, the Uzumakis were known for their mastery of sealing/contract jutsus. Such a shame that Naruto didn't even explore that in the whole series. I mean they could have atleast explored it during a filler arc or smthng.
Yeah, Kushina taught Minato all she knew, he mastered it, and alongside Tobirama's Hiraishin and his own rasengan became one of the most OP MF'ers in the franchise.
this fight felt like Obito came back to beat his teacher with all his confidence for having a new jutsu, then Minato reminded Obito he was still just a brat by kicking his ass.
Enemie: An unknown Uchiha with the power to controll the Nine-Tails, quick as fuck, able to just pull it out of Kushina AND the Nine-Tails itself Minato: Ill be right back.
Enemy: The leader of the Uchiha clan who has the power to control the Nine-tails, who also has Susanoo and can cover the nine-tails with Susanoo armor and can beat the 5 kage without even trying. Hashirama: Madara you crafty fox.
I can 100% get why someone like Madara for whom power is everything keeps speaking so highly of him. Hashirama was literrary the only one at that time who could have won that fight.
Can we just appreciate the fact that as soon as Tobi touched minato he flew to his kunai and hit him with a resengan before tobi could become intangible again
4th Hokage Minato Namikaze and 28th Wizard King Julius Novachrono both have the same goofy, adorable personalities but when you fuck with their respective domains they turn into cold blooded killers.
Same I also thought of them remaking naruto and naruto shippuden as one anime with like 300 episodes, It will surely become the greatest anime, coz the only thing haters has to say is filler filler filler and flashback.
Then we would get 3d nine tails, and that ain’t that good. Either that or animation that is so lifeless like almost the entire of burito aside from a few important eps. It really depends on which studio got their hands on the series, cause there are some god tier ones that have improved their standards over the years while some new or old ones having trash animation that is sickening to look at comparing to the old gold den stuff like Naruto Bleach that kind of series
Minato has the highest IQ level in the village, and that’s a lot to say when we think about Tobirama,Shikamaru, Kakashi,Orochimaru and Itachi for example, and Minato scored the Highest Note in the academy, which to this day no one surpassed, you can tell by seeing how fast he analyzes a fight and comes out with a solution, that with reflexes only he has, and of course a really powerful Ninja, if you think about it,he is really Dangerous, I’m not sure what was Óbito trying to do against Minato…
itachi is the only one(aside from Minato) to properly discover such drastic weak points in their brief observational, analysis in their fights within seconds. Shikamaru is the best in terms of long term/scale strategies, but Minato/itachi hands down the best for instant analysis during a battle.
Come to think of it, if he didn't care so much about saving the village, he could've just teleported to Obito again when he left and finished the job lol
I'm impressed they pointed out how the sealing jutsu was of Uzumaki design, I never thought of it that way. It makes sense Kushina taught Minato some of her clans' techniques.
After the oneshot of minato kushina did influence minato to learn the uzumaki sealing techinques, i mean uzumaki was feared by everyone because of their sealings
this is one of those moments in naruto which you can go back and back and back and look again. Others include the bridge battle, madara vs the allied forces, naruto vs sasuke first rasengan/chidori etc
@@trev9168 You writing your own Naruto series? Tobirama wasn't a multidimensional creature. He created it as a short range transportation technique. Obito's dimension cannot be accessed by anyone else other then his own eyes. If Minato gets stuck in it, he's as good as dead!
@@dreamwalker199 in the data books flying raijin doesn’t have a range limit. It can teleport wherever there’s a mark. So if minatos in the dimension he can literally teleport back to his house and crack open a beer. It’s not short range at all. Sasuke teleportation ability is short range. Not flying raijin.
The audacity of Obito to even think he stood a chance against a dude that became hokage at 21. If no family, baby and the village was involved , we cud prolly say RIP obito. Ps. Yes, this obito stands 0 to absolutely no chance against minato, but his prime version does. But his Prime version doesnt prolly stand a chance against prime minato if he lived.
What really hurt me though is the fact that obito tried to fucking kill a newborn baby naruto and unleashed kurama in the village, all because he couldn't get the pussy he wanted? Also, why the fuck did the writer tried to redeem him, like I respect the idea that most ppl should be given second chances but even to a man like obito? That never rested well with me and I never understood why the writer tried to do this.
@@balladbay2037 You clearly don't understand Obito's backstory - his parents died when he was extremely young, and he was raised by only his grand parents. Being an Uchiha, he is also discriminated by everybody else. (If you haven't noticed, so far this mirrors the lives of Sasuke and Naruto, just the small detail that Obito at least have grandparents around.) Then, on top of all this, he is expected to be better than most if not all other ninja by his own clan, until Kakashi came along. Unlike Might Guy, Obito is put literally right in the same squad as him to as "competition". Taking in the factor that discrimination against Obito exist, it can be interpreted others might have deliberately put Kakashi in the same team as him just to put Obito down to piss him off and the Uchiha clan. This is essentially being sandwiched by two sides and nobody actually care about him being Obito, just another human being. All of course except Rin. And when Rin is killed, Obito end up having nobody ever care about him for who he is. Kakashi doesn't really count because he is converted so late. Rin is pure and actually meant well from the start. Which means Obito saw that and believe people like Rin are innocent and "deserves to live a great life". Same kind of beliefs as some people in our real world. Unfortunately I met someone similar who is heavily rejected by everybody else. And they described it as extremely difficult had it not been for the very few people that actually care about that person that person would've offed themself very long time ago. Because facing a majority of the world who seems to hate them is no easy life to live. You know, you can always try and completely isolate yourself, go to a random new country with little to nothing and face rejection/discrimination from all sides everyone and see how you feel about it for many many years? And when only one kind person who finally decided to treat you well but end up murdered innocently, tell me you won't get crazily angry and resentful against the entire world?
@@Bloodark124 And that makes it ok for you to terrorize and commit mass genocide in your village? But why does writer make us sympathize with him? If that's the logic then this way hitler had his story too. Should ppl sympathize with him as well? Maybe ppl misunderstood him, after all we are humans and are hurt deep down. See, how stupid your logic is in trying to defend a maniac like obito? This is what makes this show soo stupid. Even a character like orochimaru is now a family guy living in fucking baruto.
Lmao he literally one shots Minato if he has both eyes the writer doesn’t even let him use woodstyle because Minato would get impaled when Obito grabbed him initially
This might be THE most badass moment in Naruto. There are certainly lots of other candidates, but seeing Yondaime absolutely show why he was entrusted with the village is pretty epic. Maybe taken down a notch by the fact it was his student, who was effectively still a kid that gave him so much trouble.
I mean, I don't think it is fair to take anything away from him because it was his student, who was still young. Be like taking points away from Madara because he started getting beaten by a genin (after Naruto revived) Once someone is OP, I don't think age is much of a factor.
Well, remember that this kid is an Uchiha with Hashirama's cells and trained by Uchiha Madara in forbidden jutsus, etc... This "kid" was a kage-level treat by that moment.
@@resolute7177 They're too strong. Intelligence > Brawn anyday. Without shinobi like Minato, Kakashi or Shikamaru Naruto would just be another DBZ or even worse, Bleach. All power no brain
even itachi fan bois like me recognize goats lol. why do you think itachi and kakashi's child prodigy intellect's score were just tied at 2nd place? because minato's scores are unbeatable at number 1 spot in the history of konoha, up until the present (not sure, havent seen boruto). The only 2 reasons those two 2nd placers graduated younger was; (1) minato was also a simp, wanted to stay longer for kushina, (2)Minato's era was during great ninja war, konoha was created by madara and hashirama to stop sending little kids to war just to die like their little brothers. while itachi and kakashi's era was after great ninja war, "relatively" at peace.
minato and hashirama while already being OP af have the secret hidden abilities of the uzamaki which include random seals and basically magic that no one else can replicate lmfao
I love how Kishimoto write a senior think smart like senior , see that how critical about the situation about how minato did a great analyze on how obito's jutsu works and how to overcome it
Naruto Shippuden S12:E248 and 249. The two episodes particularly , will forever be the most iconic, most powerful moment in anime history. It should be saved in a time capsule for the future generation as history. It's a masterpiece.
If he used woodstyle or takes his eye back from Kakashi Minato loses instantly, the writing is just terrible. They made him pity Kakashi cuz he would be too powerful.
@@dreamwalker199 If he took Kakashi's eye the whole village would be on high alert and Obito wouldn't have the surprise factor that he had when going after Kushina, also how does woodstyle affect the fight at all? Minato can outspeed Obito if he tries to do any wood style jutsu immediately, Obito's only counter to Minato is intangiability but Minato found a way to go around that, even with double sharingan Kamui it's not fast enough vs instant flying raijin. I do agree though he would be a big threat with Double Sharingan
It's crazy cos even viewers couldn't figure out how to beat Obito's kamui. We had all the same info as Minato did. But he figured it out in a second. I remember that's why Minato became my favourite character
imagine what's minato can do if he reach his full potential... cause i believe kishimoto sensei once said that minato isn't reaching his full potential when he die... perfecting flyng raijin invented rasengan (ashura doesn't count cause after that one time the jutsu gone) studying every type of sealing jutsu from kushina's parent (as known uzumaki clan is the master of sealing jutsu) mastering 4 elements (acording to his biodata)
Minato was not just the Yellow Flash in this fight.... He was the Fourth Hokage, husband of a dying woman and father of a newborn baby... He was playing Protector and Avenger at the same time... Thats why he was this OP
Remember when Naruto Sakura Kakashi Shino Kiba Hinata and Yamato were trying to figure out how to land 1 hit on Obito when hes fucking around and playing with them? Funniest shit ever
