he's already faced him multiple time in the past , they've fought countless times, but at last Hashirama did get the better of him , I still believe rinnegan madara would win against Hashirama that time, too bad Madara never did got to that stage (as a true power of uchiha) until his last fight with hashirama , he only awakened rinnegan just prior to his death , he basically bodied all 4 hokages hashirama included a few episodes later , I believe he was still a reanimation like those 4 hokage when he bodies them all , so reanimation rinne madara > all reanimation 4 hokages , if you make all of them alive , the result would be the same i guess.

I don't think so. If you remember correctly Madara got trapped by the first hokage as an Edo tensei Once came back to life he literally destroyed everyone with just one eye

I think he wanted to be rebirth whit the Rinne tensei instead of the edo tensei because some jutsus related to the Rinnengan that he needed weren’t available as a reanimation and to obtain the rikkudo sennin state you have to also be alive. I think that was clarified by the autor time ago, because as edo tensei you could be sealed by most sealing techniques but whit a rikkudo sennin, the sealing Justu that works is only a few, the strongest is the dark and light that sasuke and Naruto used against kaguya, so, there it is, even as a edo tensei, it was exactly the Same, but to be honest, it’s easier to seal a edo tensei rather than a rikkudo sennin I think that after seeing the situation, Madara understand what’s going on and continue whit out worry, after all, we see how he knows how to get rid of the control of the edo tensei caster

And with the help of just one between Sasuke, Naruto, Tobirama or Minato he would have been destroyed But once he obtained just one real eye, well, he massacred anyone.

Same thing when people wanted Itachi in the fight. He wouldn't do much good, even if he had Shisui, the result would end the same. Madara and Hashirama are in a class of their own, and both can release themselves from the reanimation jutsu without struggling.

Actually after madara the uchiha had all the advantages to take over the leaf village but a lot of them weren’t on the same level as the main mcs . They also have weaknesses so no they wouldn’t take over
