Nagato is a beast. Kabuto was originally going to use Nagato to take control of the war but Nagato had no mobility. Which was why he was easily sealed by itachi. Nagato with his own consciousness and mobility would destroy the majority of the naruto-verse.

The fact madara fought pretty much completely blind, and Nagato fought basically dead. Amazing fucking characters.

At least we can all agree that when it comes to “showcase”. Nagato was the best Rinegan user. Madera and Sasuke used it like a new eye, only spamming their unique abilities like Limbo and swap-teleportation. The only tool both Sasuke and madera use from standard rinegan is Planetary Devastation

Few things: those were originally madara eyes and madara already knew he was Uzumaki which is why he gave him the rennigan.

Ppl underestimate how strong and formidable Nagato truly is/was. They had to nerf him hard with those six paths of pain and the whole thing about chakra consumptions with the Rinnegan. Madara’s plan revolved mostly around Nagato he knew Nagato was the one worthy of wielding the Sage’s eyes.

Can't believe the amazing quality of this animation, I sure hope it gets a continuation and wish the anime went this direction instead of convoluting it with so many characters in the war arc then continuously rising the power scales.

I feel like a lot of naruto fans really sleep on just how strong nagato was. I believe if he was in madaras position in the war he would have beaten the 5 kage just as easily, potentially even easier since his skill with the core rinnegan abilities appeared to be better than madaras. Would he win vs madara? probably not, but i don't think it would be a one sided fight.

I at first taught that was the canon anime. Only found out later in the comments it was fan animation. So you truly have mastered the animation no jutsu.

This would be an interesting battle, well done. While Nagato may posses Madara's original eyes, Madara died before he had an opportunity to explore their full potential. Thus, Nagato was the first person since the time of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki to fully master the power of the Rinnegan. Additionally, since we know that the Rinnegan is accordingly more powerful than the EMS than Nagato should be the winner. Assuming, he was fighting against an alive Madara and no summoned tail beasts were being used. However, Edo Madara with his own rinnegan, the power of Hashi's cells and chakra reserve, and the potential of activating sage mode is more than Nagato can handle.

Madara would probably win, but Nagato is one of the few non six-paths characters who could plausibly defeat him. He might be able to absorb the susanoo (maybe even wood style?), he can pull Madara out of it, and while Madara is undoubtedly a better fighter overall, Nagato is better with the rinnegan and is more prone to using soul rip. Madara wins 7-8/10 though

That was... surprisingly well done... Excellent. The general quality is great, but its the directorial(..?) aspect that really stands out. Like... no matter how talented, you’re still having to work with like 1/100000 the resources of a whole ass professional anime studio with a million dollar budget- you’ll never be able to do a side by side comparison with an official episode and have people be like “omg I can’t even which is which they look identical xD”. I mean, some people will say that, but they’re full of shit. You can’t do everything and do it well- thats just silly. But it seems that’s exactly what a lot of fan animations try to do- they get overly ambitious and try to do so much that nothing is really great, it’s just all kind of mediocre at best, you know? This is different. This is smart. Its just enough that everything comes out great, instead of a whole bunch of “meh”. If that makes sense... which I don’t think it does... Point being: Nice. 👌

I can see how Nagato would be able to take this, very high difficulty. His very high chakra levels and years of experience with a superior dojutsu pretty much makes him a foe that i don't know if ems madara can counter, at least without a susanoo armored kurama.

I think if Nagato hadn't had a depression because of Yahiko's death, he could have gotten closer to the level of Hashirama and Madara (ems). he could have learned techniques from his clan like the chains that Karin used (if it is not a technique specific to women) in addition, these chains are stronger than the mokuton and he also could have really mastered all the transformations chakra (jinton, shakuton, hyoton, inyoto.....). he could have even learned hermit mode. if everything I say had been possible, I think that there he would be able to be considered a demigod. he could fly, used black spheres, used senjutsu and ninjutsu perfectly and I add a little thing that crosses my mind. Nagato could also have been some kind of amplifying ninja if I can call it that. I explain to you, if for example Nagato was with Itachi that Itachi no longer had enough chakra that he uses the susano for defense. you see when the susano got a little destroyed or hurt and then Nagato touches Itachi then the susano rebuilds despite Itachi's lack of chakra. another example, by touching Itachi, instead of Itachi giving us his usual katon, he throws us one of the caliber of Madara's against the Shinobi alliance

Madara have high chakra because of Indra reincarnation. Nagato has high life force . On apart if we know adaminte chain actually can destroy susaano easily from what we saw . Nagato have madara rinnegan but rn nagato have superior eye .

I honestly feel like a prime/healthy and alive nagato can give a decent challenge to madara, it's madara so it's safe to assume he would win if nagato try to 1v1 him however nagato definitely wouldn't fall easily at all. Renember how edo nagato did clap both kcm naruto and bee at the same time so a prime and alive nagato would be very powerful, kcm2 lvl mini without a doubt.
