The appearance planning was excellent, but The animation was a little sloppy and lazy. In many frames we see background ninja just standing around, and fhe overall art quality should’ve been ramped up for Madara’s appearance tbh.

People say itachi is well written, but the truth its Madara the best written character in naruto

I’d argue that’s a pretty important aspect of his character. The way he loved to fight Hashirama was damn near an obsession for him. He was raised on the battlefield. Experienced every emotion he probably ever felt, on the battlefield. Reminds me of soldiers who can’t be content at home after war. On the flip side, he fights so calmly because he is 100% convinced that he is in the right. The Infinite Tsukuyomi was his ultimate solution for world peace. For no more children dying on the battlefield. Yet he effortlessly murders many peoples children during this fight. Madara is a very interesting character.
