If Madden 25 was a reskin of CFB25 you'd have a hard time telling ppl it's not good,I played the beta tho,it's trash,they did manage to remove suction tackles tho
@@FBG_Taliban I don't play these games anymore but if I were to guess. The decade long drought has made beggars of the customer base. So they are likely just happy to have the game back. EA prolly has a good 3 to 5 years of goodwill to continue making mediocre games before the general crowd will even begin to acknowledge this. Just my two cents
I still can’t believe that EA didn’t implement a brand new physics system for the PS4 to PS5 jump. Zero chance they do any real foundation shift within a current console cycle.
EA keeps saying yearly that they’ve fixed up the frostbite and it’ll be better than ever but it plays like the last madden but with new players and face scans
nothing is new about this game since the first game on the ps5 system, the same animations, same bugs and glitches, nothing is new about this game 😂😂 just a roster update and added a few more buggy animations 😭
The point you made at 6:01 made perfect sense. They focus more on the impact of ball carriers rather than the trenches, where majority of games are won and lost.

I don’t understand why in the OG madden 25, they didn’t just take the ragdoll physics and slowly tweak them so they looked less buggy. So much better with actual physics

I thought 13 was pretty good but it was also the Madden that contributed alot to destroying the franchise cause it’s the one where EA realized how much of a goldmine MUT was and started focusing on that more than the actual game
I literally said it looks like animations to blend the warping... not actual physics but ADDITIONAL animations to make it look "natural." Half the hits they show in the deep dive look fucking weird because the animation doesn't correlate to the speed and momentum they have, YET, EA was saying it does.... and people are just blind or dumb as fuck if they didn't see it.
They seem to only worry about stuff that affects the position players, and just completely ignore all the little nuances that happen everywhere else during the game.
It's like Clint heard we wanted physics based gameplay but he described it to the programmers over the phone with hand signals. Probably would explain why he can't make a good game or a good football career.
Game looks fine imo. I’ve accepted what madden is at this point and I’m content with buying it every year as I’m going to put a lot of hours into it regardless
Just seen a video of the intro comparisons between ncaa 07 and cfb 25. Interesting how the older features were not implemented on the new game the booth intro, fans booing the away team when walking out etc. today will be getting my copy so should be interesting
Love how EA said they re made the hit stick and how it’s so much better. I think they added the arcade ugly Ui element only to make it seem like there is something new. Looks so bad. If it was truly impressive they wouldn’t need to add arcade ui elements in a simulation football game. It’s all flash. Game looks awful in all areas .
I can live with the half-ass gameplay if they could somehow turn franchise mode into a juggernaut. And for the love of God, bring back classic teams already.
I think in 2k5 they did the two man animations good like whenever a certain animation happened by having both the offensive and defensive player to press a certain button I think it was the X button faster than each and whoever won the pressing battle that's who won if it wasn't another defender coming in to help make the tackle
ryan basically pointed out something i never really even thought about.. madden is a unbalanced game and been unbalanced since 2013. ea hasn’t been on par with gang tacking since madden 10, its always been clunky when more than one player is stuck in a tackle animation. that frostbite engine gots to go its not for madden at all it’s horrible and clunky
I could care less if its a college football 25 reskin. College football 25 has been the best football game since 2k5. In fact, it is even better than 2k5

Here’s the problem.. EA is the only simulation football game on the market so all they can do is copy/paste, do away with features from older games and then repackaged them as new in newer games like us, the consumer don’t see it.

EA has me looking up false advertising statutes and apparently nothing they do is illegal! They “only” do puffery and misleading illustrations, but there is really nothing someone can do about them LYING about their game updates every year. It’s a shame that they have such wide audience capture due to their monopolistic license acquirement. We have the same issues right now in the EAFC (FIFA) community where EA advertised a game built from the ground up for their new title change and they only innovated on “play styles” or the equivalent to X factor, it’s the same formula for every franchise, we are cooked until their reputation cannot win them billions in sales per year. I forgot about that this the 3rd time they brought the stumble back. Remember either 19,20 they had it where you had to flick the right stick back to stand up. I remember that bc Everytime I did a inside run that always happened.

I've still yet to see anyone talk about the blatant lie of "physics based" gameplay engine....when in fact its still animation based. its still animations. there's no physics involved here. they're just using player information (so they say) and then chaining animations together
And this is the problem, I also love the NFL and the game of Football. But if everyone stopped buying the game 1 year. Just 1 year look how hard EA will start to make an actual change.. But no everybody is still buying. EA is ruining sport games NFL, EAFC, NHL and there is no one to stop them except for the gamers if we stop buying for only a year!!
