I think Maddie deserved it because of all the things she's accomplished this year. Chloe hasn't done much dancing this year and is just now starting to get back into it, and this is coming from a Chloe fan. All in all, rigged or not, both girls have done so much and I'd be happy if either of them won, in this case it's Maddie.
Bella Perez I agree and I'm a Chloe fan as well. I mean we can't expect Chloe to win this win she's not even dancing that much, she's just getting back into it. If it were an acting award, Chloe would probably win because she has been working much harder on her acting.

LETS FORGET ABOUT THE MADDIE VS CHLOE THING, I mean don't you think they had enough pressure on dance moms to be perfect and always go against each other, they had enough of that so let's appreciate them both without comparing them as their teacher did and kind of ruined their friendship as well as their parents we're fighting all the time.
Maddie definitely did deserve Choice Dancer again this year, even with all of her other opportunities she still trains so hard and is always being seen in classes, and it shows in her technique. Dance is clearly her passion and I'm glad she's decided to continue with it after DM.
Chloe is talented BUT Maddie is super hard-working AND her career is DANCING with SIA, Chloe doesn't do much dancing anymore BTW if chloe won you would be hating chloe, you guys are just like that I believe Chloe and Maddie are both talented but Maddie puts a lot of effort into her dancing career, Chloe puts effort into her acting career I love both girls and I think Chloe will eventually get some other acting award, Maddie also has a chance but not as big

So many people say it was rigged, or Chloe deserved it. Maddie won this award and wins most awards because she is the best (in most of the fans opinions) at what she does. Its literally called, 'teens choice'. I like both girls but in MY opinion, Maddie is the better dancer and she is very hard working. If Chloe won, nobody would be complaining, they would be happy that she won such an award. So why not Maddie? She won it, and she deserves it.

Jill actually she had the same opportunities. They were both in Dance Moms, Sia saw potential in Maddie and rooted for Maddie. Could've chosen Chloe but she didn't for a reason. But they were both in the show, had been Chloe a better dancer/performer than Maddie, Sia would've picked her.
Elizabeth hall Actually, if you look at their dancing today, Maddie is a lot better. She’s more flexible, and significantly more versatile. She’s danced with famous LA choreographers and really branching out. They’re both great dancers, but Maddie’s better now 🤷🏽♀️ Chloe’s living a normal life with a RU-vid channel. Which is perfectly fine - that’s what she wants to do. And Dance Moms was literally an edited tv show 😂 Judging a personality off of a reality tv show is like writing a college paper with Wikipedia being your main source 😂😂
Elizabeth hall On Dance Moms, I’ll somewhat accept. I agree that Chloe was better during the first two seasons, which makes sense because she took technique classes from a young age and was blessed with a natural ballet body. I believe that Season 2 was her best season, then she didn’t improve as much in Season 3, so Maddie caught up, and then plateaued in Season 4, when Maddie went ahead of her. A lot of it was due to the favoritism - Chloe was unfortunately constantly degraded by Abby. Another part was that she lost a lot of flexibility after she grew, and Maddie was lucky that her growth didn’t impact her flexibility or her center of gravity. So from Seasons 4-6, Maddie was significantly better. I prefer Chloe for technical dances, and Maddie for dances like jazz and musical theatre - which she wasn’t given often.
I do think maddie deserved it because it's not about who beats who in a dance, but it's about who dances with passion and who is more dedicated to their dancing than the other person. She has danced for SIA and so many other people around the USA. People in the comments are angry because their favourite dance moms actress didn't get picked and their most hated actress did but you know what, these girls work their butts off And to be even recognized in the teen choice awards is a BLESSING and a half!

Of course Maddie deserved it - she ADORES dancing and is so good at it and committed to it. I'm not even sure Chloe could be clasified as a 'dancer'. She's said herself that she's not really danced for the past couple of years, until she had to when she returned to DM. No hate - but how can she win Choice Dancer if she's not really interested in dancing?

Chloe winning the first TCAs was a pity party. Stop saying chloe beat maddie so maddie beat chloe or whatever. Being nominated is already such an honor. They both work hard. hating on maddie because you feel chloe should have won is so unnecessary. both of them are super talented, but at the moment maddie´s career is far more focused on dance then chloe´s. chloe is doing some great acting things which is amazing & i´m so happy for her. but i feel like maddie deserved the choice dancer more simply because her whole career is around dance (yes she does acting, modeling etc too but for example in most of her movies her character have been a dancer). chloe hasn't really done any dancing jobs professionally since she left dance moms (this might not be true, feel free to correct me if i´m wrong. they´re both beautiful, talented girls, but in different ways. i´m not trying to hate, just spreading my opinion & hoping that chloe fans will understand that chloe is an amazing girl even if dance isn't her 1st priority anymore & even if she doesn't win. also, congrats maddie
It all comes down to this: If Chloe was as talented as Maddie, she would have Maddie's career right now. If Chloe is where she is now it's for a reason, and if Maddie is where she is now, it's also the result of something crucial: her talent. It's outstanding.
