Agreement to accept the legitimacy of electoral results. With these changes, this third ideology quietly co-existed as Populism alongside Liberal Democracy and Socialism. Today, with the apparent return of these two elements, it is fair to suggest that Populism has transformed back into Neo-Fascism.

The last time I visited Germany, one of the major stops was the Dachau camp. Much has changed since visiting one in 1959 in France. There has been much “sanitizing” of the horrible conditions that were still evident in my first visit. There are now memorials and photographic evident of the horrors. However, nothing will ever let me forget the slippers I saw at the base of the oven’s door. I was so young. But, even then, I knew what that meant. Even now, there is no amount of denial that will rid me of that terrible memory.

I received my book late this afternoon and I am about 50 pages in. One thing that really scares me is, I was born in 1951. When some of these events that were happening, it was during my parents youth. So far, the exception being of what I have read, and some previous books I have read lately on this subject, I never heard anything about this stuff happening in my life time. We did not learn any of this in school. It is shocking! I wonder if my parents ever knew anything about it. It makes you wonder who you can trust. With Trump, it is plain as day that you can not trust him. That is obvious. One thing I have no clue about is why do so many countries hate the Jews? I don't get it. Thank you Rachel for your new book. I have become an absolute political junkie. My husband says, he doesn't understand why I am tuned in to the news continually, because hearing about Trump and the political upheaval, just makes him mad.

I was born in 1952 and since my twentiest birthday interested in history about fascism. You are right in being interested in this horrible subject. Dear Rev and Rachel: I was thinking in my 80s now that it would help to concentrate on the good numbers. I've found that the strongest negatives against democracy are from our people in populations low in number. Many Americans don't think in relation to our 330 million Americans. We report on numbers (but usually percentages) of what is going wrong. If we could switch focus I truly believe the interest and the influence and growth for the good and support of democracy would grow. Why can't we do that instead of convincing people we might as well go with the negative flow; let bad things happen. The decent fair-minded people don't have the numbers. So many Americans are probably like me and don't get asked in a poll, or don't bother answering them.

I was huge fan of RM, (am watching this video 3 mo after this interview), but I have to say that I am hugely disappointed with her silence about Israeli’s genocide and Zionism that over the last three months turned into nazism. She has PhD in political science and she should know better what has been going on in Israel and Israeli’s occupied West Bank and Gaza.

Could we have some honest reporting about climate? We recall the hysterical predictions in 2007 about, ‘runaway ice melting,’ and predictions of ice free summers in the Arctic. We all recall the ‘experts’, saying that snow will be a thing of the past, and that the winter Olympics might have to be canceled because of a lack of snow. We all recall the experts, saying that little children will never experience the joy of playing in the snow and making a snowman. If we look at the data today, we see that sea ice in the Arctic is experiencing normal and predictable variations. We see no, ‘runaway ice melting. Plymouth rock is still exposed and very visible from the time that the pilgrims set foot there. We also have to be cognizant of the record crop production and expanded tree growth being generated by the slight uptick in.CO2 which is basically plant food. We need some honest reporting about all of this good news.

@@mooseheadjack1. Please point out where I mentioned that I am denying climate change. In fact, my post had everything to do with climate change. You have to realize that weather and climate, which are two different things, have been changing ever since the Earth was formed. My post had to do with the hysteria of years ago, and the good news that weather and climate are now within normal and predictable limits. I never denied climate change, but I am reporting the good news having to do with a Climate Change. I believe that reading is fundamental and I would suggest you go back to junior high school and take some basic reading courses. You might also want to enroll in a local junior college meteorology class and obtain a certificate to better understand weather in Climate.

I fully understand because I was facing the same issues that you are. We were lied to by some who were trying to feather their own nest, by receiving grants and funding. I recall years ago when private emails from these climate activist were released from the climate research Institute in East Anglia. One researcher was wondering if the climate information they were receiving was all natural. We now know that what this researcher was seeing was indeed natural, and that climate anomalies have now return to normal and predictable levels. I understand how hard this is for you to grasp, but this is all good news and we should rejoice. We can all now go out and enjoy life without guilt. Embrace the good news. Have a wondrous and joyous conclusion of the weekend.
