How I explained it to my kids: Farmer Joe has taken over an overgrown piece of land from a bad count, cleaned it, cultivated the crops. Right before he can start harvesting, the bad count comes with his wealthy friends and tries to take it away on the argument, that the plants have not delivered more crops than they did before Farmer Joe took over. I think about making this a children's book.
