Oh ya Father Mark you are so right, I have had plenty of currents in my life & so glad that I have the Holy Spirit to always bring me to Our Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross for all of us by the Grace of God 🕊️ I love your examples of getting ready for action in the name of the Lord 🙏. Paul was so right that we who follow Jesus Christ are transformed into a new creation. I can attest to that. My love for Jesus by attending Sunday Mass each week and praying, I have changed. Thank you Fr. Mark. This is so true about adventures with the Lord can be an ordeal as well as a joy! A few months ago at Mass, the priest giving out Communion signalled to me to ask someone to consume the Blessed Sacrament and so I asked them, and they were furious with me. We have to sometimes be unpopular for the sake of Christ and his Church. Have a blessed week.🙏🏻🕊

If it's not the alter servers distracting us, it will be something else. We need to ask our guardian angels to help us focus and not let the enemy distract.

He surely has me on a new adventure.🙏

There seems to be two sides to this. Expect adventure if you follow God. The second part is to connect with God before going on adventure since sometimes the answer is "don't go". A couple times, I met someone to go with me when I was uneasy about going out in the ocean allowing me to go out with company. However, once, I was thinking of going and someone showed up & warned me against it. Fortunately I listened. Around this time a famous big wave surfer was killed in Hawaii, and before he went out he and his friends got a bizarre warning from someone who pulled over and warned them about an impending change in weather. Unfortunately, the big wave surfers didn't listen and the most famous one did not come back. So when thinking of "adventure" , seek God but also keep an open mind, as sometimes the "action" is "no go".

The Revelations of the Jesuits is a awesome read. Especially when running out of gas ⛽ in the Allagash Wilderness with only Saint Aurelie there to supply it. Kinda like having 200 Algonquin war canoes coming down the Saint Lawrence ready to supply New France THIER WAY while the affluent French were being BLOWN AWAY to the coast of Spain. Sound Familiar?

The altar servers at my Traditional Latin Mass Church would never behave like that. So glad I came out of the Novus Ordo mass. Thanks for the confirmation of that decision by the video. Jesus said know them by their fruits.

God works in mysterious ways...what better way for us to be reminded to pray for young people than when they catch our attention? So many comments here about the servers talking! Will you now do the right thing? Pray for them! Also if you don't remember acting like teenagers do, please go get tested for dementia!

The one alter boy closer to you doesn’t stop talking to the young man with glasses. Sad he is not paying attention.

Dear Fr Mark. Your altar servers sitting in the background are often talking and looking around...not good. A little more training? It's a distraction from your wonderful sermons. Maybe the camera could be offset a little? I follow you everyday...thank you so much!!

Can the people in your congregation see the altar boys talking We have a very reverent NOrdo Mass, but altar boys are well trained and never behave like these boys on the altar behind you. 🥲
