Garrett definitely puts customers first. Recently I sent my Ace400 in for repair. they did an outstanding Job.. I will buy another Garrett simply to reward the company for there super customer service. very rare in todays world to find such outstanding customer service.

Still got my 1970s Garrett Gold Hunter A2B Groundhog, & my Deepseeker ADS detectors. They have 5•5" as well as the 10" co-planar coils & work as good as the day I got them. They have found a whole pile of coins, artefacts & at least 20 Oz of gold for me & are about to go on another prospecting expedition as I write. There is still a bit of gold to be found here in Western Australia, but the hard part is organising permission to prospect as most of the ground is held under corporate or private leases.

Congratulation for statement " made in Amerika". I'm using Garrett detectors since long time. Bought a GTI 2500 with the additional " treasure hound" double coil assembly => great success hunting for relics laying below 1m depth (in my case cannonballs from Napoleon battles in Switzerland, Austria and Germany). Very good idea to create this detector with exchangeable coil assembly. So you need only one basic unit and you just decide "in situ" what you want to hunt, either coins with the single coil ( I got several sizes from 24cm to 42cm dia) or you fix the treasure hound just within minutes to scan again for deeper relics. Although the GTI is a bit heavy compared to an AT pro, however it pays off regarding capability of deep scan. Discrimination is sharp and speedy and display of size/ depth is a nice add-on. We own Garrett Euroace and 150. To be frank, those machines are old and were good in the past. Now other brands are really killing it in terms of price and quality. We are switching to a waterproof detector from another brand for diving and (!) simultaneous beach use. As for Garrett, my Euroace is a tad heavy, reacts to all the trash out there (even a very tiny piece of foil, when a pinpointer does not even perceive it thankfully) and cannot stand wet sand. I still found a few cool things with it but only because I am patient as hell lol and dig almost everything. But overall, Nokta Macro Simplex, for instance, is better than Euroace and cheaper. I know it is not good for you guys to talk about competitors, but already the majority of people go for other brands, because they innovate. Whereas your politics is focused on producing same old detectors and spending the majority of your money on marketing and even fake reviews on youtube made by people that never metal detected in their lives, further claiming that Garrett 250 can be used with wet sand under the salt water - which is lol insane and simply lies.
Bin auf den neuen Geräten gespannt😞denn es sind richtig gute Geräte auf den Markt gekommen ☺ich hab zur Zeit den At Max was ich bemängele ist das Gewicht und das Gestänge das könnt ihr besser so ein leichteres und klabbares Gestänge währ fein so dass man das Gerät schnell Einsatzbereit hat und auch gleich wider im Rucksack verstauen kann ! Denn hir wo ich Wohne müssen wir oft Stundenlang Berg auf und Berg ab gehen da zählt jeder Gram 😊Sonst ist Garrett super👍liebe grüße Franz

I'm just looking to get into detecting and at this point don't know anything . Where is the best place to read up some and learn what machine is best for specific targets. I'd like to look for gold on creek banks in Colorado and other places and coins in parks and such. Will one machine serve both purposes ? Thank you for keeping your business in America !

Leider hat Garrett zu stark nachgelassen, der At Pro ist super nur sind mir 3 Stück kaputt gegangen, immer die Stege der Elektronikbox sowie die Kopfhörer. Beim At Max das selbe bis auf die Kopfhörer. Dann das hohe Gewicht. Garrett geht nicht mit der Zeit. Ich hoffe der neue wird endlich mal Innovativ und ist mit besseren Materialien gefertigt. Dennoch benutze ich heute noch nen alten At Pro weil der auf Euromünzen in verschrotteten Gebieten mit der Sniper einfach unschlagbar ist. Die Zeit wird zeigen ob Garrett gelernt hat und endlich mal mit der Zeit geht, wenn nicht wird es der Anfang vom Ende mit Detektoren für Jedermann
Garrett es muy fuerte en Detectores para iniciar, de buena Calidad. Pero poco a poco va a ser desplazada la marca por nuevas que están demostrando ser de tecnología actualizada y novedosa presentación y moderna. Yo tuve el ACE 400 y el AtPro, muy buenas máquinas pero insuficientes al momento de Discriminar. Ojalá se pongan a la vanguardia con equipos nuevos y novedosos, de lo contrario seguirán perdiendo mercado en el segmento de los Detectores de Metales para hobbie.
I will say when a Garrett works they work good but I got one last year for Christmas which did not work right was told they will charge me be 40 plus parts I told them I will not pay them to fix there mistake and still have not made it right
