This is so great! Warren... we need you to come back to Garland and walk around on the factory floor every day (In your hat and shirt) and talk to everybody and look for ways to improve every aspect of quality and final product user ability so the rest of us can all be more productive when we hunt for treasure!

Nice tour through the Garrett factory Warren. I loved all of the old models mounted on the wall in the break room! Amazing to think Garrett has been in business of 50 years. Thanks for the tag along mate! GL&HH Doug

Wonderful tour Warren. Very interesting to see these products being assembled. Thanks. This was by far the most in depth tour of Garrett's facility by far. I am a few days from ordering the ATX for a trip to Virginia. Gonna do some Civil War Relic Hunting Mate. Cheers, Terry...

Delaware Digger Thanks for your great comment Terry - I thought you would enjoy this tour as a long-time Garrett user. I will be uploading a video early next week with Steve Moore and I Civil War relic hunting in Tennessee with ATXs. You should find this very interesting mate - and congratulations on your decision to buy one, definitely needed in Virginia I hear. The red soil in Tennessee plays tricks with the VLFs so pulse is the only way to go to get the good deep relics. Happy Hunting mate! Warren.

Hi Warren - watching this video and the others in the series does put the message across - Garrett make quality product. Anyone interested, whether a hobbyist or professional must include Garrett product as part of their kit. Equally impressive - you're professional presentation. Not one crease in that shirt mate - top stuff. Seriously - really enjoyed the tour and seeing the real people who work at Garrett - assembling great quality product…made in the USA. Cheers mate GL & HD Ian.

Hi Warren, I was just wondering how you find all the locations of the Australian ww2 Camp sites. great videos by the way Thanks Will
@NQExplorers
@NQExplorers 9 лет назад
Wilbur Burke G'day Will and thanks for the great comment. As you would know, many of the large camps are well documented and therefore well visited over the years. We have been fortunate to be the 'first in' to a number of spots up our way - many hours of exploring the bush on foot and in the Defender. Some camp locations can be found on the internet - try Peter's excellent ozatwar dot com. But really, do plenty of research - old newspapers etc, so you can discover the little know camps and more remote sites that still exist waiting to to be detected. If you are really lucky, you can find a lot of information from our elderly citizens who will remember things that you can't find on research - such as where the Diggers might have played two-up etc. Best of luck mate - Happy Fossicking! Warren.

(1). Please upgrade the Whites TDI SL with higher energy to the coil and a new ARM Cortex chip to analize the return signal with updrades to both ground balance performance in hotter soil and ground mineralization tracking (If that sort of thing is even possible on a pulse induction machine). More sensitivity to small gold and at the same time keep and increase the detectors ability to hit deep silver coins in moderate soils and on saltwater beaches. Capacity to run Nuggett Finder Evolution coils to their highest potential. Build the new TDI SL PRO purposed to run the flat wound evolution coils. (2). My new Garrett Goldmaster 24K new in the box was missing the owners manual. So when I opened the box I could not figure out how to operate the detector... Letting all the fizz and excitment out of getting this new Goldmaster upgrade. I want a 14" coil for my new Goldmaster 24K... Why? Well... at 48 kHz... The sensitivity is there... and running a larger coil gives an ability to hunt for larger pieces of gold deeper using the same machine! A coil cover should be included with every gold focused metal detector made! Why? Because we run the coil on the ground which makes having a coil cover an absolute necessity for desert gold prospecting. Its called coil to the soil! Putting a coil cover in the box lets us know you get it when it comes to desert gold prospecting. Putting an owners manual in the box helps us get the detector up and running without delay!

Hi, great video. I was considering a infinium LS, and i watched your beach dig, but never noticed another video on it. Did you decide to use an ATX instead ?
@NQExplorers
@NQExplorers 9 лет назад
G'day Al, thanks for the comment. I still have my trusty Infinium and did many hours detecting with it. I have a prospecting video using the Infinium ("6 Days in the North Queensland Goldfields"), and also a run through on the features of the Infinium on my channel ("Garrett Infinium Demonstration"). The Infinium is a brilliant all-round detector. If you are getting one for prospecting, the small 8" mono coil is the way to go as it is more sensitive than the larger coils. I now use the ATX for prospecting as it is far more sensitive on small gold - still the Infinium is very good value for money, easy to use, and you can dive with it. Hope this helps mate. Happy Hunting! Warren.
