Pucci does have to activate the stand for the ability to work but I get what you're saying, when it's on it just stays on unlike the others (well Bites the Dust is the same since it's a continuous loop of "blowing up" time)

Gravity, time, and fate are essentially all the same thing. If not that then they are very closely related. Diavolos time skip letting him skip fate, Kiras bites the dust essentially changing fate (in a very unorthodox way). It's all connected.

My friend and I were talking the other day, we each came to the conclusion that Joseph could beat Pucci with some Looney Tunes bullshit. Like, there's somehow an anvil directly over Pucci's head. He would find a way. He survived three separate plane crashes, being like inches away from erupting volcano, being erupted into the atmosphere while missing a hand, died by having the blood drained out of him and came back, he'd find a way, pull something out of his ass one last time.

In the earlier releases of the manga, the Stand was actually called Stairway to Heaven, referencing a Led Zepellin song. Araki later changed this to Made in Heaven which references a song by Freddie Mercury and also an album by Queen.

I think that Made in Heaven is better for the AMV leitmotifs, have you guys heard dat shit? the song matches with the tense fight beautifully plus it wouldnt have the same impact yelling STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN! as Maidu In Hebun has, and I think it would've been harder for the japanese VA, so glad Araki changed his mind

It can even be considered as a good thing by GER, so It wouldn't revert it since it's really not doing anything harmful. Yeah maybe that speed up time is bad but In the grand scheme of things..ehh. Well If Giorno ordered it then maybe, But we still dont know if GER will listen. He seemed subservient so who knows.

Fun fact - the speed at which time passes is affected by local gravity (the stronger the gravity the slower time passes in a given place), according to Einstein's theory of general relativity. So time acceleration powers are a natural extension of his previous control over gravity. It's also why Pucci was able to see in stopped time, as a gravity stand C Moon also had *some* control over time.
