State Attorney Andrew A. Bain and Kissimmee Police Chief Betty Holland hold a news conference to announce an update on the murder case of Maddie Soto. Stephan Sterns has been charged with first degree murder.

What is obvious to me is that she was either a negligent oblivious person with severe mental health issues who shouldn't have had custody in the first place or she was complicit. What happened to that poor minor child was systematic rape and abuse lasting for years upon years leading to the death of the child. Jennifer Soto doesn't get a medal for failing her only child in such a horrific way just because she hasn't been charged. And unless you know her personally you have no way to know what she was or was not aware of and if you do know, I hope you shared that with police. And know this, that "mother" didn't fail Maddie once or even twice. Look at how many times according to court documents that Stephan raped her daughter and really think about how many times Maddie was actually failed. Stephan was charged with 60 counts of CSAM. That's alot of failure. So much failure, in fact, that it looks almost deliberate.

They also stated there is an ON GOING INVESTIGATION and they are requesting further information that requires a signature. They also refused to discuss specifics because they are STILL INVESTIGATING TO VERIFY.

As they said; It's an ongoing investigation. At their last press conference they said, that everybody, who lived in the house, was investigated. So is the mother. But rumors say, that she's at a mental health clinic, which is actually a common move for suspects to avoid being questioned. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We know Sterns was the last person to see the child alive. Bottom line, Sterns drove Maddie to school that day. I would be interested in knowing Maddie's autopsy results and in knowing the time of death and how she died. That would tell us all we need to know.
