I am a survivor of CSA, trafficking, and CSAM (child abuse materials). I was severely abused before I could even walk or talk. I was 6 years old the first time I was sold to a man in a motel. I was 7 when I was first used in CSAM. I've worked in the anti-trafficking movement for over a decade. training Law enforcement hospitals social workers and others on these crimes. In 2017 I developed an age-appropriate curriculum for schools 5th grade -high school on trafficking child abuse (all forms) CSAM. I truly believe education leads to prevention. I of course offer the curriculum to the schools for free yet none have wanted to implement it, We as a whole NEED to be talking about CSA and all child abuse! the statistics tell us that most trafficking victims went through CSA. The real pandemic is CSA and child abuse in general.. children are dying at the hands of people who should be protecting and loving them. it's only getting worse. I have had the privilege to work with over 400 minor victims who are now survivors. these children deserved better! children should come first! They can't yet use their voice ...they need our voices!!!
@janej8954 have absolutely not one clue why they decided to have a press conference now??? With Stephan being charged with the 60 more charges over a week prior to this presser, is ridiculous for them to come out and now tell the world, absolutely nothing the public already knew.
Honestly, I feel they are doing a fantastic job , not giving too much info in order to take these pos down 110% . Kudos to them for being tight-lipped to give that angel baby justice.

I think he panicked and didn't think they would ask for his phone.He was having intrusive thoughts remember.These predators are very different to your normal everyday guy...they think differently.

Forensics takes time, evidence is processed so much more thoroughly by different sets of eyes and it all takes time. Chief Holland is clearly emotional about what happened to beautiful Madeline and is also doing her job as a professional law enforcement officer. They have the evidence. Things are moving. Give everyone grace.
If she was pregnant the DNA of child would lead to the father. Maybe they were pimping her out and father is not known yet. I believe the photos were advertising for trafficking this child.
In FL the autopsy, which includes toxicology, can not be released to the public regarding cases that include minors unless LE has approval of the parents. I think there's a high probability that Jenn Soto will not give permission for release. So, we may never know the depth of the depravity Madeline endured until trial.
To show they consider this important and not something to just be forgotten. Also every time the case is on TV people around suspects start calling in with information.
Her darling face is in our homes everyday and she has captured our hearts while this tragic case is being reported on daily. You can’t blame people for becoming impatient with the lack of updates so far. It’s the reaction the media wants. Entitlement?? That’s a little harsh IMHO.

She was very specific when she said “those involved”, I 100% feel like that was deliberately said. Possibly this press conference wasn’t for all of “us”, & instead for anyone else responsible for Madeline’s death.

I agree that’s what everyone was expecting. Poor Maddie no one in her life was paying attention so sad. This news conference only left everyone wondering since she said everyone around her is still under investigation. Does Florida still have a child killer in the area?

Oh she answered their questions but it wasn't the answers that people want. This is still new people have got to be patient. I would rather the investigation be done right, than hurried and everyone involved be held accountable. Have a air tight case. So was she saying there where other minors involved that he molested in the home but she cannot say who because of age? This is heartbreaking that an adult can do this to children. When the mother said " we took Maddie to see 2 doctors , and i guess Maddies on the spectrum ", adhd and aspergers can mimic through childhood trauma.If only those doctors had looked a little closer at maddies behaviour.Such a shame her mother used that excuse about the phone and being forgetful ...but its telling.

Agreed. Can you imagine the phone data LE must go through.. I'm sure they are looking at the monster and mom's correspondence while he was supposedly alone with Maddie and while those videos were being captured.. It is very difficult to learn of the things that have surfaced. I have four daughters and i tell you i can't imagine someone bringing harm to a hair on one of my girls. i disagree. these things take countless hours and they owe it to madeline (and her actual loved ones) and the public to get it absolutely right from start to finish. i think them arresting the man, even on other charges, is a big big green flag that they know what they are doing in this.

100% she knew. She enabled him and called him maddies stepfather to ensure Maddie done whatever that sicko wanted. No way did Maddie not say she didn't want to be left alone with him.
I went through being abused as a child and my mother realized it when I told her myself. I hate that everyone think they know more than a pedophile and an abused child what really happens. That can happen under anyone's nose, otherwise it wouldn't continue happening.
Most victims don't come forward until around age 40. There is so much shame and guilt built into the victim . Truly, paedoviles are Master manipulators. I follow this RU-vid channel where victims speak on their experiences and a lot of the Mothers never knew what was going on. I was on the bandwagon of believing the Mother knew, but now I'm reserving my judgement for what the investigation determines.

She said talk to your kids. Also, families, report suspicions of SA to hot lines etc. This means Madeline's family either 1)knew of the SA or 2) had suspicions and didn't say anything. That comment from the chief was VERY telling!

There was no point to this press conference. They could have just released a statement and been like we’re not releasing any new information for now. Rather than do all this and disappointing people. If Maddie didn't tell any relatives about what Sterns was doing, then perhaps she told a friend. Every child she knew, in that school, needs to be interviewed. Does LE have Maddie's phone? She may have communicated with someone concerning what was going on in her household.

I listened to the wording. Jen is not talking and they said "everyone is still a suspect". I believe she is involved! Reading the 2nd affidavit abd how it describes things, someone in the home besides him took the pictures. The disgusting acts were only with maddie. Jen obviously lied about what she was wearing and when she was ladt seen was a lie because, Maddie was deceased already. The grandmother didn't defend her daughter or say anything about hiw they were as a family or as parents. The grandma seemed detached from jen. Jen also stated "she was home all day and in 1 interview said she dog walked as a job". Well there are charges with acts on dogs!!! So were they her clients dogs? Yup! Probably. A child ring only 6 min away just got busted. So I bet he was selling pics of Maddie and is involved with that old man referred to as "santa". I think this case is much bigger than expected! Many more things i could point out but thats the main points
I respect that the kissmmee police and the investigative team leading the madelaine soto case are working tirelessly and diligently on this case. They have not yet received madelaine's autopsy report so afcourse they cannot disclose any details concerning this case. Who are the public to demand more information right now while the case is still active and ongoing...some people are acting very entitled. This case is NOT about us, the public it is about getting justice for Madelaine Soto. Would you all want the police to be sloppy and miss vital evidence that can send the person or persons involved to prison? I personally respect how the kissimmee police are handling this very sensitive case. They are trully working hard for Maddy Soto cos they care about this precious young child that lost her childhood and her future. Don't forget that these investigators and police are also family members themselves..they too are parents grandparents, siblings. Imagine how they just feel having to work so closely on such a horrific crime. No one asked HOW did the Orange County Sheriff’s Department knew that Madeline was deceased in the videos of the car. Even though they probably wouldn’t have answered this, would have been a good question. This has never been clarified as to how they knew. This press conference was a whole lot of nothing, since this is all things already known by the public 🤦🏻♀️
The four stars general police chief made an official press conference with the world press to update on this gruesome murder declaring what a great job they are doing and how hard they are working on this nothing to update conference. chief Betty Holland said mom "has cooperated" and gave an interview 7:22 aka the interview where she lied like a dog to cover for her bf. That does not mean mom is continuing to help the police. Sterns is the only one who has not locked himself into a narrative. 4:04 mom is not cleared she and everyone else involved are still considered suspects. Overall the police are getting all the facts and a full timeline so this can be presented in court. We do not want jurors to easily be swayed.

Sadly most cases I see like this, the abuse has been going on for years and the victim gets to an age where they "might tell" and this is the result. Rest in Peace Madeline, justice will be served and God will one day get a turn to hand out their final punishment🙏🕊
