Gerda Pleša He stopped school cause he realized his passion for music and things were just falling apart at school. He was not being kicked out my friend XD
+Itzzwan You should see him practice/the hours he works. his incredible work ethic and how long he's been doing it (almost since he was a preteen) is what makes him who he is. I think most people would refuse to call it talent, since of how much he's practiced.
@Nadisan the only memorable thing MG has made recently was Follow and even then that was mostly Zedd’s style. I’d still take Madeon for the live only stuff and the productions he does
@Nadisan Every song you just listed are like... the most basic Top 100 Mainstage songs EVER. I'll admit when I say that both of them suck in terms of modern music today, but when Zedd does EDM he makes it more creative than anything else today. You can literally find any song on the Bass House and Mainstage charts on Beatport that sound exactly like MG
Fun fact, Madeon him self is editing the background as he goes. If you pay attention very carefully; his button presses are mostly in time with the background, not the music.
I used to think so too after watching pop culture. But if you look closely in the video he`s just pretending to turn knobs. Also since all the songs have already been sampled there`s not much need for manipulation. Not denying he`s one of the best DJs I know and the boy single-handedly created a new genre. But almost all except faders and compressors shit he does here is fake, which I don't understand as Madeon is hella cool why would he pretend
@@sandmanlance6497 um no. He's doing the low pass and high pass thingy. There's actually very little difference because he's turning the knobs just a little. TL;DR you're jealous
@@italyisntreal of course I'm jealous he's one of the greatest producer imo. Now go look at 2:33, he touches the knobs a lot but doesn't change them most of the time. Also the transition is at most on 3 channels yet he is changing the knobs at all 4 channels in his allen and heath controller. If you want I can elaborate further as to why he's pretend pushing buttons half the time.
3:18 gets me everytime. It's genius like Madeon that keeps passion and talent in the Electronic Music Industry. I'll never stop seeing him as inspiration to help drive my passion for making music. Maybe one day, I can influence people even just a fraction of how he does. Mad respect.
Such a perfect vid! It's clear Madeon has amazing skill but big up to the editor of the video too...really slick visual to match the music! And the tracklist is really helpful throughout!
i saw Madeon when he opened for ZEDD and my god! he straight up killed it and put on a hell of a performance...much better than when Dillon Francis for him
You know... I've been supersticious when it comes to dj's as to if it's really just a guy pushing "play" on a pre-recorded track. But seing Madeon here, made me open my eyes. This is truly a musician and an artist at work, putting in emotion and storytelling in this short but sweet performance. I bow to the all the great dj's out there!
So much young talent in the EDM world right now. Madeon, Joey Dale, Julian Calor, Julian Jordan, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Will Sparks, Thomas Newson.... Who did I miss?
I love that they show what song plays at which point. They could of just put all the songs at the end, but they went out of their way to do this. Then people won't have to go through all the songs to find the one they really like.
