To Queensland (not all of you). - You were the favourites going into this series, don’t backtrack now. - You don’t “pick and stick”. You were calling for Walsh and Holmes to be dropped all series. - You only won one game and it was 12 on 13. - NSW at least scored two tries on home turf when it was 12 on 13. You did not score a try on home soil with 13 on 13. - NSW understood origin and you didn’t ;)

The X factor was Michael Maguire as coach. Slater had not coached against a battle hardned premiership winning coach who also had success at the international level and now has the SOO as another string to his bow.

There were magic moments from both sides throughout the game. Little one percenters all over the park. That's why we watch it.

Great game, first half was just brutal and amazing, best half of origin I think I have seen, it was like a test match and the respect from both teams taking the two when it was there reflected that, it will go down in history, ill-discipline cost QLD with early penalties especially in the ruck and holding down too long in the tackle, that's why NSW had all that possession on the QLD line and they had to make 100 more tackles in the half, that carried on a bit in the second half as well and the ball didn't bounce their way, I feel sorry for whoever has to play the Kangaroos in the near future the team looks very strong, congratulations NSW on the win from a Queenslander, too good too strong, I was happy to see Moses get some chocolates too he tries his guts out and has had a tough time over the journey, I'm sure he will remember that game forever, I think Edwards grabbed the national fullback jersey but Teddy will be in the team too, he can play anywhere and always delivers.

If NSW had not won the series this year then questions would have been asked about when they ever would. If you like good games, then this win really sets up next year to be a step up. They have to defend the title and it won't be easy.
