I have a question...when it's not crowded do the mullet still swim around in the clear channel just before the spring? I'm familiar witb the place but it's not my main stomping ground. Last summer though my mullet fishing spots were just plain overcrowded with motorboats zooming by every 2 minutes. A friend of mine said Blue Springs was stacked with mullet (which would make sense...they will school up in any spring channel that isn't crowded) but when I got there all I saw was a bunch of grass carp that he probably called mullet lol! But anyway I bet they still come in before it gets crowded in the summer.
Hi! So sorry for the late response, but no the water is not still. There is a cold water flow that comes up from the bottom and flows out to the river.
