His peak was excellent as well as his post seasons stats but overall his career seems a little light to me. I’d say a borderline candidate. I wouldn’t mind if he makes it, nor if he falls short.

Not even close. As I write this his career record is 134-121. HIs record with San Francisco was 119-92 Dumbass risked a potential Hall of Fame career by wiping out on a dirt bike. Sorry, bro...when you are an elite athlete in a team sport you are supposed to forgo activities that could result in injury. Instead he was reckless, messed up his body, and screwed over his team.

I hated this guy when he was on the Giants for his ‘PLAY MUH GAME MUH RAAGHT WAY’ attitude so I admit I took a little schaudenfreude when he got booed off the mound by Arizona fans.

It seems like he checked out after 2016, as his side hussle was something he said he wanted to both do full-time and be known for.

@@mlbupdates365 He got injured in a dirt bike accident, and then the following year broke his pitching hand on a comebacker. He was never the same after that, but first and foremost its not exactly mysterious when you put in that many innings in your 20’s and start to decline at age 30.

What I think's happening is that he's lost his passion for baseball and prefers to spend his days in the rodeo and his pitching mechanics have shredded his arms.

Annnd Madbum just got DFA'd a few days ago after yet another awful start. Farewell Madbum. Never was a huge fan but his career was very respectable.

As a Dbacks fan I can’t even begin to explain how frustrating it is to watch the team just keep putting him on the bump every five games… the dude needs to be DFAd
