Produced and Directed by Tim Duggan
Award-winning documentarian David Hoffman returned to Madison County after 58 years since his first visit as a 21-year-old in 1965. His original documentary spotlighted the legendary Bascom Lamar Lunsford, who was 82 years old at the time. Mr. Hoffman's return was marked by a special screening of his 1965 film, followed by a Q&A session and a visit to the iconic filming locations he first visited so many years ago.
This homecoming coincided with the Lunsford Festival in Mars Hill, North Carolina, and featured a barn dance at Rare Bird Farm on Sunday afternoon, making it an unforgettable weekend.
