Not really dark. More of the same Disney-esque “dark” tbh. The game has become too cartoony imo. It gives them an excuse to produce more low effort less detailed art and design... I’m not really a fan myself :/. I want stuff like Frozen Throne and Whispers of the old gods too but not if it’s gonna be pg-ified like they’ve been doin (I know I know This is probably just to get more child customers and what not but like... c’mon isn’t that kinda unethical anyway? Kids shouldn’t be playing F2P games with micro-transactions when they don’t know how to be responsible with money yet)

Even if this is an alternate universe: the setting makes a lot of sense from WoW’s point of view. If you walk around the island as a ghost and speak to the spirits there, one say Silas offered him a job after he left his home Strom. This is: Stromguarde has gone by Strom in over 2000 years

It’s fun to come back to this and see that there are a bunch of actual cards that were teased in this trailer. Ex: circus medic, cascading disaster, fortune teller, circus barker, prize plunderer, balloon merchant, manari mosher, sweet tooth, carousel griffon, and a few more can be seen throughout the trailer, represented by the wooden figurines.

huh. a couple years ago I made a WoW account to play up to level 20 so I could get Liadrin. one of the few things I did in that time was stumble upon the Darkmoon Faire. I do NOT remember any eldritch monstrosities. ....though, to be fair, kinda hard to tell the difference between that and normal carnival food.

It was implied from the very beginning, the first patch-note mentioning the Faire is authored by Silas Darkmoon and he talks about a deal they made to get the fair grounds, saying "You wouldn't believe the deals we had to make to get this place, or who we made them with..."

Well it's not the first time a Worgen was seen with a tail. There's an official art from Samwise (?) That was showing a worgen next to a summoning stone with a dwarf and his wolf pet. 😆

@@ikahekathesnake4233 Yeah I thought so. Sylas Darkmoon told me the whispers telling me to murder everybody is just the fumes of the machinery making sounds. He also told me to chug a bottle of dark liquid called the essence of Y'shaarj or something. Dunno it didnt seem important
