It has been amazing to watch this, it is like a biography of my life. I was with you all the way on your moments of becoming a Madonna fan. I'm sure you are aware, but there is also a 12" picture disc of Deeper and Deeper, that you didn't seem to have, unless I missed that! Fantastic collection

WOW what a huge collection you have of Madonna. Even Madonna herself would be impressed with all that you know have I am a huge fan of Madonna and I have most of her albums and she is still queen of pop and do you have her Celebration World Tour 2023. She is releasing Like A Prayer Sliver Collection on VINYL in September

Amazing! You are obsessed but at least with the ultimate pop star Madonna! I have stopped buying her stuff after Confessions. But what a joyride it is to be a Madonna Stan! What joy she has brought to us. What amazing memories and how much love she gave to all of us! But please wear gloves when you touch the vinyl and the foldup posters!

My personal favorite piece is the Erotica album released in a black heart shaped box with a red sash that read, SEXY in sliver lettering. The box included the album (cd), black eye mask (kind of like the one in Erotica video), handcuffs with keys, and a black leather studded g-string. Limited to 5,000 world wide.
American Life is my third favorite Madonna album. The promo and album packaging is among the best that ever existed! Only Christina Aguileras Bionic package and album design comes close in comparison. One of the most underrated and misunderstood albums of all time. Bold, edgy, personal and prophetic. Every song is a perfect piece of sonic art! No skips! Fantastic work.
@@thegvbproject It is "Like A Prayer" part two: It's explores the theme "Love" but this time the lack of it on her person and on her environment She talks about the personal and political, the connection between love & politics, love & spirituality and love & USA/World! Personal, bold, edgy, innovative and prophetic. One of the best pop albums of all time. Really underappericiated and misunderstood. It was her last great concept album (after that only confessions was a completed conceptual work- but more on a sonic level than content level).

Wow, that is some collection when you spread it all out. I can only imagine what that is worth. I was 12 when Madonna hit the charts and was a big fan through my teens. I even went through the whole "dressing like Madonna" phase 🙂. Watching this bought back so many memories. True was an awesome album. I remember listening to it non-stop on a drive up to Surfers Paradise (I'm guessing on a tape player). I had the Sex book - not sure what happened to it - probably thrown out because I don't think I thought it was something I could donate. I had the girly show program too. Also gone. I didn't listen to much music during the 2000s when my kids were little and when I got back into in my taste had changed from pop to alternative !! I know this took you ages and gave you quite the work out but I'm sure it'll be a great record for you to have.
Yes I’m so glad I made the video… I’ll never do it again 😂 - It is worth quite a bit, and. I love it, but I will surely sell it off one day when the timing feels right. True Blue is such a great album 💙
@@thegvbproject Erotica is one of my favorites too. American life, Like a Prayer, Confessions, Music and Ray of Light are my other fav's. The only one I never got into was Madame X. Also, I love your Celebration Tour jacket!!! Thank you for sharing your collection with us 🤩

This is a beautiful collection, and I'm so glad you enjoy them and handle them. And your breathlessly (!) happy anecdotes about your past are a joy. But I'm surprised that for a guy who has Broken, the GHV2 Mexican promo CD and Little Star you don't have Oh Father Japan snap pack and a few other snappies off that album? You have way more stuff than me but I had to have those early on... Like A Prayer being when I got into Madge I suppose I have a soft spot for that era. But this is awesome. I'd love to have the Holiday 1991 promo CD and a Royal Box as glossy and perfect as yours. I hope you continue to enjoy collecting and filling the very few gaps left xx
Hey there! Thank you for your comments 😍 I really appreciate that you enjoyed the video. I think the reason I don’t have many of the Japan snap packs is that I somewhat try to limit the amount of stuff I’m collecting (hard to tell haha). I mainly have the few that I have because they were really cheap on eBay at the time). I mostly keep my collection to vinyl, cd single slimcases and card sleeves (which is why I don’t have many singles in a standard cd size) and cassettes, but even then I don’t have a massive amount.
My god !! That is what happen when you forbid a child to buy an album , watch a movie, get a concert ticket ect , turn childhood repress into the hugest collection ever. Love it , be able to see everything together is so beautiful huge collection, a tres sure, An your home , u got , it so nicely decorated , are you an homes interior designer ?

Through private dealers, I have 2 signed Madonna albums, Like a Virgin, and Vogue, the 12-inch single. Maybe that is something to find to complete your collection? Then it's always fun to ask, would you give up your entire collection to have a meet and greet with her, or something you would love to obtain? Thank you, it's been great watching this!
Thanks for watching! I’m yet to get a signed item. Maybe I will one day but I much more enjoy adding to sections of my collection. Would I give up my collection to meet her? Absolutely not. 😂 There’s all sorts of reasons for that. 1. The meeting will be fleeting, whereas my collection is pretty much forever (or for much longer). 2. What if I don’t like her in person or something similar? That would change everything. I would however sell my entire collection for other reasons if the moment feels right. Life is to be lived. Thanks for watching! It’s hard to say. I’ve been collecting for over 30 years so prices I paid compared to the prices for some items now is extremely different. According to discogs, the value of the collection at the moment is between $40,000 to $70,000 AUD
