The Grammy she won in ‘92 was for a music video. She wasn’t recognized for her musical achievements up until ‘99. Given her well-established history in the music industry she should have the right to point that out.
winning awards is something given from somebody else - how some ppl decide to give that and while some ppl DONT - but what we can do is just do our best, etc. she won herself from being no-one to a big star, from being underestimated vocally to the point she could sing well and found her voice for Evita. she fought hard to get the role for that. even she skipped the tour for Bedtime Stories era.she’s victorious in her own way and she’s still around until now❤ to me, being successful is a matter of ourselves dealing with our own laziness, hesitations, getting up after failures, learning the lessons, grow up, reinventing, pushing and bringing the best out of ourselves. Madonna is a great teacher❤
