I was in the Dance Tent that night, and I remember so many people fuming about Madonna "ruining" Coachella before her performance. As soon as she hit the stage, however, all of those haters were screaming like 5 year olds and whipping out their cameras. All Hail The Queen!!!
I remember the t shirts that read "Madonna Killed Coachella". I remember it being so hot that day and the heat going well into the night with no cooldown. I remember standing for 5 hours in the same position through 2 sets (Including Paul Oakenfold) to make sure I had a good view and literally crawling back to my campsite after the show was done.
I was there! It was over 100° and I have never seen a crowd with that much energy!! It was insane!!!The tent was huge and Jam packed hours before she even performed!! She had hipsters, rockers, hip hop heads, etc, all screaming!!! It was awesome!!😂
Watch her live performances is something you will only know by going there...she does have such an incredible energy... I LOVE HER. THE CROWD WENT NUTS!!!
I was there and it was amazing!!!! I had to leave a little early to go see the Coheed and Cambria show also playing but I was floored by the energy!!! The best Coachella probably ever....
MADONNA WILL ALWAYS be on the of it all. If it wasn't for Madonna there wouldn't be a Beyonce nor her, not her, not him, either ..I didn't want to mention any other names .. Madonna haters are fans but, of a different type . Their still big fans.
@Marshall Salvatore YASS seriously... when GaGa not to compare (is in her own league) but GaGa was okay... MADONNA killed it, and Beyoncé did great *#GaGasNumberOneFan*
Sorry, I have to disagree bhindex. I was at this show and although I LOVE Madonna, and wanted this to rock... it sucked! The sound was horrible, and she only played for 35 minutes. It was SUCH a dissapointment. I love her, and she rocks...but if anyone showed people what Coachella could be that year, it was Daft Punk. They performed in the same tent she did and they ROCKED MY FACE OFF!
