The song is about the depth of love..... the CHAOS of love, represented by the storm in the city (the fights in the relationship), and about the lightness of full love where it can float on water or even be " head turned" in the clouds.
The music video was filmed mostly in the Warner Bros Studios in Burbank, CA with lots of special effects but the production cost was never publicly disclosed…but knowing Madonna, she spared no expense in producing her videos and tour concerts. She dedicated the song to her then husband Guy Richie. The song was also the fourth and final single released from her 2003 American Life album..and amazingly it was the single’s B-side-Nobody Knows Me-that became more popular over time. She never performed Love Profusion in any of her tours, but she included Nobody Knows Me in her 2004 Re-Invention Tour, and as a video interlude (anti-bullying message) during the 2012 MDNA tour. Appreciate you reacting to this video.
I thought this was a cute song and video. The background and the song were actually used in an Estée Lauder perfume commercial after it was released. Great reaction and we love the little titty chair dance. Screw the haters! HAHA!!!
So much fun to watch reaction to this video! Such a beautiful song and the video is definitely gorgeous in its colors and contrast between the destructive reality and the beautiful fantasy. Are you going to react to Madonna and Britney next though? That would be probably right after this just before confessions they did a song together and music video but not sure if you will be counting that :-) big hugs!
Madam! Love you and this journey. I love this song so much. The video is ok. Queen M looks fab. Not her most creative video, but it's cute. I love the American Life era soo much. The Confessions era is another level! Can't wait. Keep rocking girl! Screw the haters. There will always be them out there lurking behind their keyboards. Hope you are doing well!
This was a nice collaboration between Madonna and director Luc Besson. Madonna loved his film "La Femme Nikita" (as do I and I recommend you see it...the FRENCH film from 1990 and not the American remake and cable TV series) and welcomed a project with him. In 2006, she lent her voice to a lead character in his animated film "Arthur and the Invisibles" (2006). I felt this video was under-shown which disappointed me because I felt it had a very accessible sound.
Really that Kylie person supposed to be as big as Madonna? I’ve only heard can’t get you out of my head and the locomotion never heard anything else from her I didn’t know she even had other songs
I never liked that video- I think they spent as little time and money on it to get it played in clubs and mtv if mtv still played videos then? But I did like your review and the song itself is great !
Thanks so much John!! & Yeah! This definitely was a STRANGE MV... Lol BUT!! I still thought it was cute!! 🥰😝😁 M, truly has had such an EXPANSIVE Career!! 😍 & I have LOVED Seeing all the Visuals that I have been able to see so far! 😍😝🥰 & I honestly cannot wait to continue my Reaction Journey! Thanks so much for watching, John!! ♥️💃🥰
