Most times I see her in her interviews I sense a deep sadness in her. As though there’s a void in her that even all her great accomplishments is unable to fill...very sad to me. She’s always been an amazing artist and performer!
Why were people confused when she said "Zimmer Frame".. That is what that is called. I now assume that Americans call them "Walkers"?? Must be because she lived in England for awhile right? I never really knew about madonna until I saw a documentary on her one day. She's amazing in her younger days, influencing and creating a whole wave of contemporary fashion/music which many girls followed later. A true icon.

Why do people care about age differences? Once you are an adult then you are an adult and you can date any other adult you want and it doesn't matter how far apart in age you are. Just go with someone you like and get along with and are attracted to and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.
There's a group of people in every town that considers anybody who manages to exist outside of their circle to be a person that they've rejected from society for being non-compliant. You need to be pretty twisted in order to see things the way they do and life is much more fulfilling if you figure out how to ignore them. Go by your immediate family or a friend that you willingly spend a lot of time with when you're trying to decide if you're right about something being socially acceptable or not. That's my advice.
You have no idea how many couples are of a great age difference, and no one even notices or cares. Clooney is 15 years older than Amal but I've never seen it mentioned once. Brad Pitt is older than Angelina by 12 years but no ones discusses that. It seems that everyone only has an opinion when it comes to an obvious mental/emotional gap. Someone fresh out of college and a millionaire in his/her 50s just don't add up. That's why people talk, I think.

Likewise with Jolie and age difference between her and brad it not huge compared to 20-30 yr old age differences. People do talk about men dating women way younger like Leonardo when he's dating 20 yr old models and the common thing that people say is someone like Leo should think of marrying and settling down with a smart woman instead of running around teenage models. No one says to Madonna that she should remarry and get a man who can be a good father and a partner, only the age difference is being focused.
***** I agree and disagree. I agree that people - or more likely, media - don't dramatize older men & younger women relationships. An example that comes to mind is Johnny Depp and Amber Heard with a 23 year difference. Whereas the relationship of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher (15 year difference) was all over the papers for years. However, I think that for older women dating younger men all the talk is sort of empowering. Annoying, but empowering. Like, "you go, girl! Go against the stigma!" But with men the assumption that the younger woman is after his money/fame is almost never voiced, yet everybody knows that everybody thinks it... I think the problem becomes worse when it's not even discussed.

I once wrote a letter to Madonna asking if she will be my girlfriend I loved her when I was a kid still do lol...I was about 8 years old, And my mum wrote me one back pretending to be Madonna. A walker is what a one year old is put in so they can get around and strengthen their legs to help their development. a zimmer frame is the metal frame old people use to get around, she is 100% correct.
I can't see Madonna dating a man her age or older because she still has so much life and energy inside of her. She is still growing and discovering new things. She is still not settled or comfortable in one place. She needs a young guy who has just as much energy to keep up with her.
True, but younger men don't have much common to Madonna in terms of life experience and they will give their right arm to be with Madonna and that's about it. But it's odd whatever relationships she had with younger guys, it didn't last longer than relationships with guys her age or guys that are not too young. I think for Madonna, she worked at a young age and worked harder to be here today as one of the most successful artist in the entertainment industry. In her personal life she didn't have the relationship that she wanted so she's still falling in love with any and every guy.

It is only the negative frustrated people who criticize females dating much younger men. I really love her attitude that she always follows her heart in all aspects of her life. Madonna is so sweet here. And I agree with her - age is only a number. And both Ellen and Madonna look very good for their age. It's not only makeup, it's also hard work.
Age is just a number to an extent. However those relationships do have their chalenges, and the biggest one is being able to relate to each other when the person you're dating is so much younger/older than you.
It is so interesting to see how relaxed & confortable is Madonna w/ Ellen on this interview. Most of the interviews that Madonna gives she looks like ready to attack and no pacience. What a difference! I like that!

Anyone commenting about this 'age' thing probably lives in a small rural town where people pop out kids in their 20s, start dressing old in their 30s due to weight gain and even more so in 40s and up! Its dumb! Age is just a number to remind us how many times we go around the sun!!!!
While I know Ellen plays it off like there's nothing wrong with dating someone so young but when she hears 22 she has a look of genuine shock on her face. I do think people should have flexibility with who they date without judgement but still 52 and 22 is a BIG difference. That being said I do have an immense respect for Madonna and what she has done.

it's impossible to sit in a chair like that with a corset on unless you try and lean forward a bit. Trust me, I speak from experience. She would be able to sit more normally in that outfit if it was a more straight-backed chair that you're not supposed to lean back on.
uhhhlysamonet That's how corsets make you sit on chairs like that. Corsets are not ideal to be wearing while seated at all tbh...I've been wearing them for a decade, they are comfy, it's just usually when people sit in them they sit on the edge of the seat more and very upright which would kind of look more odd on TV.
