Vogue still remains to this day one of the best choreographies in Madonna's entire career, and in pop music history. I love it, its so clean yet sophisticated and intricate. this is my favorite rendition of this dance from her for this song
She's just another level considering this is 1990!! All female 'artists' should kiss her feet. To be totally honest! She smashed the doors open for everyone to express themselves ❤❤❤
No one puts on a show like Madonna. The sharp choreography, the costumes, the amazing dancers…every show I saw live I watched again and again because you miss things. You can’t see everything going on with one performance. 30 years later and she is still selling out stadiums.
Talent? Don’t make me laugh. She’s clearly miming in this video which says it all. She deserves credit for her tenacity to succeed and her dancing abilities, but it stops there. All of her songs were written for her and it’s widely known by people that work in the record industry that she actually cannot sing very well.
@@robertsinnerman7804 Where do you get your info? She's very talented, dude. She has written or co-written MOST of her hits, and you don't land the lead role in EVITA with no singing talent- Stephen Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Weber would say otherwise. Michael Jackson mimed most of his live performances- your point?
@@robertsinnerman7804 You can clearly hear that this is not the studio version at all, you can also her breathing, singing off beat (intentionally). If you don’t like Madonna, theres something erong with u boo
Two laserdiscs were released with concerts from this tour. One was recorded in Niza, France and the other was was either Tokyo or Osaka, Japan and the latter only for the japanese market but they can still be found on ebay.
Oldandnew 123 it has a very special history in the underground NY’s music and fashion scenes. It was a movement, livelihood and the only bright light when Aids was killing so many. I love it because it gave hope and purpose to so many back in those days. Sometimes the stories of humankind make a big difference and that is what real art in any form can do. Thanks for your reply.
The absolute best live version of “Vogue.” I was too young to attend this concert, but from all of the other later tours that I’ve seen of Madonna’s, I have to say the Blonde Ambition Tour is the best.
#hellyea #madonna #warnerchappel #sony #disney #davidmay #davidlachappel #oprah #ellen we have a request from a #topfan i think the world would love, lets get one for #michaeljackson , our #king and #queen of #pop a #kevinmichaelnorman #idea #here
One of the best world tours ever. Its choreographies and theatrical performance are extraordinary. You can feel Madonna's ambition behind everything: bold and transgressive.
Madonna will always be a legend and the fact thats she's still going strong in her 60´s shows how well she has taken care of herself. My parents listened to Madonnas music when I was a little kid and I'm still and will always be a fan of her. You have to admire the impact that she's had in the music industry and how many younger pop-stars that she's influenced. :) In my opinion Madonna will always be The Queen of Pop. :)
What I love about Madonna is that she is a real NY girl at heart and she always hit the underground club scene to keep her ear to the street ...she def had a huge influence on NYC club scene and the house scene and she was a pop star but kept true to her roots as a NYC club kid...
Madonna is flawless, creative, inspiring, unique. She totally nailed this and everything she does. Perfection every time. She presents something new in her music, her dance routines, her style, her looks. She is the queen of pop xxx
This has to be one of the BEST choreographed songs of all time by any artist sung and performed by Madonna…she killed it in the video and on this tour along with her amazing backup singers and dancers!😊
@@RileyRemix old movies can be remarstered for Blu Ray format ; why madonna concert can't ? If it's not a digital recording, then you can re work the picture
András Csémy this is NOT shot on film, the only one shot on film was the one in Paris for Truth or date. These were all TV broadcasts. Please shut up if don’t know facts.
I remember when they aired this concert on HBO in 1990. As a huge Madonna fan and young preteen girl I thought it was so exciting and empowering. I was a bit young but Madonna was so ahead of her time in so many ways. I recorded the concert on VHS and learned all the dance moves to Express Yourself. It’s amazing what one Madonna concert did for me. It affected how I dressed in the future and my views on fashion, art and music. Thanks for the early education and the inspiration 👑
OMGosh.. Madonna's intro Voice.! Whatever, I was thinking, doin'...forget it...i thinkin' and doin' my Vogue Vogue...! ..Ooo Madonna vocals giving me Life.! So Sweet..! Can't live without it.! ..Vogue Vogue.! ..Ooooo you got to....to the music.....! Vogue.!..Vogue.! Bless You Madonna. 🎶✨💖🙏
Force of nature, touched by the Hand of God, one of a kind, a true original…you name it. She deserves every platitude and more. She, too, was inspired by artists before her, but she took things to a level never seen, BEFORE social media and the HUGE boost it gives to artists today. I just marvel at her. But there is madness in genius, as the saying goes, and I worry that her eccentricities will tarnish her legacy. Growing old is TOUGH for someone like her, and I wish she would reinvent herself, to go with the flow of time…
I think of him each time I watch this concert tour. I met Gabriel and Oliver at the Palace of Auburn Hills, here in Michigan during her tour in 1990. He was so kind and I hope he felt honored in the end, to have had such an amazing experience. He will be forever missed. I'm so sad he died. I was diagnosed with HIV in 2002 and it is now 2020 and I'm still alive. RIP Gabriel. I so deeply wish the medication and support had been available for you in the early 90's.
@@Skovgaard1975 Basically Madonna was the first ever artist that gave theatrical touring, no artist before her ever gave tours even close to hers. All the props and dancing had never been used before.
@@Chirasree282 Actually he didn’t, he used some props here and there, and gave some amazing dancing, but Madonnas 1990 blonde ambition tour was the first real theatrical tour.
The One and Only Queen of Pop, Her Madgesty 👑 The Best Selling Female Recording Artist of All Time!! The Top Touring Solo Artist in music history!! The Legend, The Icon, The Goddess, The Ultimate, The One.
Madonna and her 1990 Blond Ambition Tour made pop history along with this iconic performance of "Vogue". Rolling Stone even noted that Madonna had "reinvented the pop mega tour itself"; in 2017, the magazine included Blond Ambition on their list of "The 50 Greatest Concerts of the Last 50 Years". Queen of Pop indeed!
THE BLOND AMBITION WORLD TOUR 1990 ( PRO SHOT ) WAS RELEASED TWO DAYS AGO , HERE ON YOU TUBE , FINALLY WE GOT , LIVE IN NEW JERSEY AT BRENDAN BYRNE ARENA , THE LAST SHOW IN THE USA, THE LAST ONE WITH THE BLOND PONYTAIL,. IT' S MUCH BETTER THAN NICE , BARCELONA AND YOKOHAMA , I AM SO HAPPY , AFTER 30 YEARS , I CAN'T BELIEVE IT . I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE NEW JERSEY SHOW WITH THE PONYTAIL SINCE 1990 , IT'S A MIRACLE
She also "killed" the 1960s. Madonna took the music world by storm in the early 1980s and was the most famous woman in the world. A cultural icon of originality and sexuality. She has had the confidence and audacity to be herself. I only regret I didn't see her in concert in the 1990s when the tickets were $250.00.
@@vertbeke7977 Yes, Madonna was "It" for a long time. I think she has been having difficulty aging, so she has had a lot of plastic surgery that has puffed-up her face in a distorted manner. Sad. I made a mistake in my original post. I meant she 'Killed" the 1980s not 1960s. I still enjoy listening to music from the 1980s since it's energizing and uplifting.
I have Never pay attention to male's body shape Until i started watching all her live show videos! mannnn the male dancer body is super GORGEOUS! n She IS THE ROCK OF TREND N DACING !
The choreography from 3:05 to 3:12 is EXTREMELY complex. I’ve never seen anyone duplicate it. The arm interchange is virtually impossible to master.. yet they make it seem so effortless.
