Day one of our trip to Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Spain.... watch us in the 40 degree heat. Would highly recommend this festival, good atmosphere and range of music genres.
Gday mate! This is gonna sound crazy, but me and the missus were just checking RU-vid for footage of the festival and saw this, and realised you guys were behind us in that bloody brutal line! We were the 3 sweaty Australians, equally confused about where to get ya wristbands. Keep up the good work!
It’s a great festival and you’ll have a really good time ! Unfortunately it’s unlikely we will make it this year however we are currently looking at others in Europe so it’s likely we will end up somewhere 👀
Hey, enjoyed the video! I'm planning on going to the festival this year. Never been, any tips for Madrid, and Madcool itself? Did you stay very near & find it easy for getting home at night late? Cheers ✌🏻
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching👍, great festival however was extremely hot during our time there so prepare for that. The public transport tube links to the festival are great and drop you right outside. After the festival I would suggest a taxi as it ends between 3 - 5am, be prepared for some long days if you get there early on !
@@beaugoespro Ok thank you! That helps. Was hoping that by the evening acts it cools down a little.. I don't cope well in the scorching heat so that's all I'm worried about 😅
Aneta Ilieva Thank you ! No we booked a hotel ourselves which was in central Madrid, historically I’ve done the package deals and found they can work out more expensive than if you look around yourself 🤘
That's a great video, thank you! Question: if one would like to go later on only for the big acts is it possible? We are considering to go for 2 or even 3 days but I do not think we can make it if we have to be there each day from the start...
Glad you enjoyed the video ! Yeah you could defo just go later on in the day, the festival goes on till the early hours of the morning so there's plenty to see if you can't make it earlier in the day !
Hi mate - I've been bought a ticket to Mad Cool Festival 2022 as a Christmas surprise. Me and my partner are also Madrid virgins.. is there any helpful tips you can give us? i.e. what time did it open? 5pm? Did you have trouble getting TO the festival from central Madrid? We're thinking of staying in the 'Sol' area and it's at least two trains (hour journey).
Hey man! Great choice on booking this one up, it us such a great festival to attend. Travel to the festival from central Madrid (where we stayed) was very easy and there is a subway station directly outside the festival gates, we got Taxis home after most nights. The line up for 2022 is brilliant, you'll have a great time.
@@beaugoespro hey i know you commented a year ago but what was the name of the hotel i tried typing it in and i cant find it? how much was the taxis back each night ? is there no way back each night ?. looking forward to going but finding a hotel and travel is very frustrating.
Its not as interactive as a massive festival like Sziget, it is far smaller and in a more built up area This being said its a great festival with some impressive stages !
Yes they hand out paper time tables of the set times, was pretty well organised and all the stages are fairly close together so you won’t miss out on much 👍
