'Riders of Justice' star #MadsMikkelsen examines five of his most pivotal roles, and reveals why he lied in his 'Casino Royale' audition. Mads talks us through his films 'Pusher,' 'Casino Royale,' 'Another Round,' and 'Riders of Justice,' and explores his iconic take on the role of #Hannibal Lecter in "Hannibal" - including how he differentiated his portrayal from the previous Hannibals, played by Anthony Hopkins and Brian Cox. He shares why he loves working with 'Riders of Justice' director Anders Thomas Jensen, and how he and the cast of #AnotherRound helped director Thomas Vinterberg following the tragic loss of his daughter.

Shame they didn’t mention “The hunt” - another masterpiece by Thomas Vinterberg. Anyways, Mads’ performance in “Hannibal” is astonishing. Season 4 is what i would like the most in my life. What a brilliant man and actor!

Really good actor. Solid performer. Most of his roles I like. Hannibal Lecter stands out to me in particular. I felt he played a more refined, a better iterated version of Hannibal Lecter than Antony Hopkins, and that's difficult to say because AH is such a good actor and his role as HL was spectacular. One difference that come to mind is their take on rudeness. The later was never rude, AH HL was from time to time rude which in hindsight is a little unbecoming.

I’m surprised there was no mention of Valhalla Rising? His very presence in that movie practically carried it-especially as there is extremely limited dialogue. Only an actor of immense charisma and knowledge of ability to emote so effectively could do a role like that. And he nailed it. It was an intense and gripping movie.
