My then wife and I took my mother on her first ever trip out of the UK. We took her from Hull to Rotterdam aboard the Pride of Hull overnight ferry . Then, we went to Madurodam. She was 83 and we were lent a wheelchair for her at no charge. She enjoyedthe trip and the visit. I was happy to have treated her then as she passed away a few months later.

It was a nice overcast day which made the visual quality excellent , making it much easier to see the details as last night I watched an hour plus Madurodam video on a sunny day. This place is my # 1 most favorite place I ever visited.

I will definitely google that one. I love, love, love the miniature art but I have also discovered the giant marionettes from Royal Deluxe in Leeuwarden,Friesland, Netherlands. They have visited Liverpool, Perth , Montreal, and someplace in France. I've never grown up.
