Adore her. If I was twenty years younger & single, i’d definitely get within an inch of attempting to try flirting with her and bail at the last second. Ending up with that vague smile you do when you accidentally lock eyes with someone you don’t know. Then spend the rest of the night kicking myself for bottling it. (Maybe attempt it a second time with the same result making her think I’m a complete freak show and me leaving the place as fast as possible)
This is a short clip from one of their sets and it isn't about 'being lesbian'. The rest of the set includes very varied topics. Also plenty of straight male comedians focus their sets around one topic or another with some of these being relationships.
Because this less than five minute clip of a non-lesbian is representative of all lesbian comedians. Congrats on defeating the child lock on your parents’ computer though.
I watch a ton of standup - this must fall into some awkward/funny thing that I have never seen or that is generally just a small part of a complete show/personality. Mike Birbiglia, Paula Poundstone or even Jim Gaffigan use that awkward silence technique sometimes. The problem is - this seems to be Mae's only joke. Yeah, sadly not really feeling this. I've watched 4 or 5 of Mae's 3-5 minute clips (which should be the best stuff I would assume) and I think I smiled twice...
@@kidkique I am a writer so writing a few sentences is not any effort to me. Generally, I write between two and five thousand words a day - three sentences is a passing thought.
