I ABSOLUTELY *LOVE* Maestro Hulk. I wish that they would bring him back and make him more formidable. Like, what I wish that... There was a comic story in Spider-Man 2099 where Maestro Hulk followed him to his time using a brilliant statigic plan, so what I wish would happen is like Maestro Hulk uses his Old Bruce Banner form to blend in with society, and he is there observing behind the scenes, and he takes in all of the information and plans things, and he does a lot of time travel things, and he changes events, like he finds out what happened in Future Imperfect, and he changes the events, and he goes to other timelines and uses such circumstances to his advantages, like he gets DNA from every hero and villain, and he clones them, and he makes them his obedient servants, and he has like people like Dr. Doom and Reed Richards and Tony Stark and Shuri and Kangs, and other smart people in his arsenal working for him, like their clones, and he uploads their intelligence into his mind to become smarter, and he conquers other timelines, like places that he uses the clones for to infiltrate and take out from the inside, so he obtains more resources, and more knowledge, and more power, having a super powered army, like a bunch of Thors and Magnitos, and X-Men and things like that, and he gets other Gamma things and absorbes the Gamma Radiation into himself to become even more powerful, and he even uses his blood and other genetic things to create monsters, like Hulk-Dogs, and other Gamma being loyal only to him, and it really puts Maestro up there with people like Thanos and Kang and them, how he steals from others like Kang and Makes them his own, and me also has Sorcerers that he commands, and through their knowledge and Dr. Doom's and Dr. Strange's notes he learns magic from them, and he can make suits like Tony and Dr. Doom, and although he conquers other galaxies and timelines and things like that, he might not have the biggest army ever, but he does have the most powerful. That way Maestro Hulk would be like on some Darkseid sh!t, like he would be a big deal.
What confuses me is Maestro has been absorbing gamma radiation for years. Yet he's sent back in time and dies to a gamma explosion? Shouldn't that just make him even stronger?
Yeah, he should've been able to tank that bomb. Even Joe Fixit tanked a nuke before & I believe he was at point blank range when it went off. I guess you could argue that the gamma bomb was more powerful & able to destroy Maestro's body. I'd also argue that when the gamma bomb went off & opened the Green Door, that's what killed him too
At the time he was considered the Merged Hulk, the result of Banner's then known personalities (himself, Savage and Joe Fixit) resolving their differences and was the ultimate version of Hulk. The concept of "The Professor" and him just being a different personality was a later retcon.
The Professor is my favorite Hulk incarnation and is the version that turns into the Maestro. But the Professor is actually the weakest of all forms. His base strength is the highest of the Hulks but he doesn't get stronger as he gets madder. In fact, if a fight between him and Joe Fixit were to progress, Joe would win if The Professor didn't end it quickly. And the worst part of it is if the Professor gets too angry he reverts to Bruce with the Hulk's mind, leaving him vulnerable. So basically the Maestro is stronger in base strength because of radiation and time but overall he's still weak. Last, if The Leader detonated a gamma bomb in Joe Fixit's face and he survived, and the Professor having Banner's mind, why would he think a gamma bomb would kill Maestro? Great story....but it doesn't work.
Maestro was sent back in time to the place off his birth and the exact moment the hulk was bruce through what was bruce banner death and rebirth by his own gamma bomb. This resulted in a Paradox where Maestro sease to be to witness your death and rebirth/conception while being blown up by the very bomb the created you would most definitely kill of Joe Fixit as well
@Alex Cardona I get that. But if the Maestro has absorbed so much radiation and is so much more powerful and durable than the Hulks before him, how did it kill him and not Mr. Fixit? Joe was the smallest, weakest and took far longer to reach the base of every other Hulk's abilities. Like I said the story is great, but if the gamma bomb didn't kill Joe it shouldn't have killed Maestro.
the War hulk and immortal remains the only ones to have attaind the true maximum potential of HULK POWER being world breaker form which requires total unity from hulk and banner in the agree to absolutely destroy something.
@House Wilma I'm Lee and I approve that message. If you think about it (like I am right now) The Professor is World War Hulk. He's the version that was tricked by the Illuminati and sent into space. Then after all the crap he had to deal with, he was taught to unleash his full potential. I wish they would stop trying to dive so deep into complex storylines because they keep getting further and further away from the root of fan's favorite characters

at least maestro hulk retained some standards unlike Father hulk who essentially came from the same timeline where instead of taking over the last city he kidnapped Shehulk and made her his wife as they could have natural hulk born kids who were all violent hillbillys scause of the inbweeding. until the ageing wolverine ended up taking them all out cause his kids tried to rob him and wouldnt take no for a answer but maestro ended up saving father hulk Hulk JR and Cousinwife Shehulk.

Maestro is dead. Future Imperfect end os great, so we don't need Maestro in the current timeline. Anyway, current Marvel comics are rubbish, almost in bankrrupcy, smashed in sales and popularity by Manga.
Peter David really fell off hard. The original Maestro storyline was the only good one. The more recent stories are just super lazy and make Maestro boring.
I always prefer savage hulk. More unpredictable and scarier. Having him speak with intelligence takes away from a lot of what I've always liked about the character.
