Mine was killed uh.. Yeah his name was Rigoberto Nevárez man... He died the day my baby brother was born. My Grandpa was happy that day and at least i got to talk to him so.. Better than nothing.
This figure SCREAMS Mark Bagely! Absolutely love the art direction behind the box design and the accessories are straight from Spiderman #361-363! Incredible figure!!!!
@@drrzonics8239 he like stabbing and seeing people die him summoning a looney tunes hammer to hit someone would be ineffective to kill but also something he has literally never done
@@Hirabeatz yeah he did, in The Fwoosh’s review of this Mafex carnage he shows the panel of him using the hammer 🤠👍🏽 (Edit: I got the reviewers mixed up, but it’s fixed now)
Without a doubt, the Amazing Yamaguchi Carnage is the best Carnage figure to date. I like the look of this Mafex figure but the head-sculpts aren’t as good as I hoped.
@Steve Vento Carnage’s arm can be blown off and have it regenerate. Symbiotes can very easily change a person’s anatomy just because they can; like how Venom is usually a lot bigger than how Eddie Brock normally looks and this applies to almost everyone that has been with any symbiote prior. Plus, a stylized look doesn’t keep it from looking “remotely good” when every comic artist that has drawn Carnage (and every other comic-book character that has ever existed) has done so in their own “style”.
@Steve Vento if you dont like more stylized stuff thats fine, but the Revoltech isnt too crazy in that regard honestly. The Mafex is more comic accurate and the Revoltech is more stylized but theyre both great. Saying it cant look good because its stylized is super subjective and just not true. I own both, and I can say the Revoltech has the Mafex beat for sure in terms of articulation and accessories. The quality of the plastic is also harder and feels much more high quality. No QC issues either. Some Revoltech stuff for sure looks wonky, but their Carnage doesnt fall into that category. I would pick it over Mafex if I could only keep one.
@Steve Vento agreed. The Yamaguchi style figures are way more stylized and more of a Japanese interpretation on Carnage. Much prefer something more similar to the comics like this one or the Marvel Select.
I love when Carnage has the sculpted in parts like with Absolute Carnage and the amount of black on this figure looks so good! I just feel like Carnage is supposed to be a dark red for some reason?
I love this figure soooo much and I think this is the beeeesst carnage action figure ever but I don't like the screaming head if the mouth was empty it looks so good, btw Nice Review.
The pink mouth is definitely comic-book accurate (see Maximum Carnage run) but I hated it in the book and I hate it on the figure. It's a deal-breaker for me, even though he's my favourite Spidey villain
Mine had a broken elbow out of the box, I send this Super cordial letter to Mafex, but they said we have no extra arms or replacement figures. Sorry! I took 2 arms off an extra Venompool wave Carnage and put them onto the Mafex. A bit too beefy so I bought another, a venom, and a comic spidey. No more Mafex for me, they just don't care once you open it.
I got my and the arm broke I took it out and pop it was off then I looked a Piece was barely attached so it broke now I have to wait for a replacement I’m frustrated now
The review I was waiting for! Absolutely love this figure. Love the classic Bagley carnage. Carnage was cool in the venom movie but he could have been much better. Hated the tongue, that’s a venom thing, not carnage
This figure is cool, I dont have any carnage figures. I still need to get one soon lol. Im thinking hasbro will one day make the one from the animated series
honestly i feel like mafex is getting better than figuarts, the only thing i feel like is better about shf is that its closer to true 1:12 scale but even that is iffy with them lately. however i am very excited about the movie deadpool they announced
im not completely sure but it seems you got two left forarms you may wanna check that out , you might have bad luck for mafex. btw , did you think of a packaging design for street humans, i mean if the end goal is to have them mass produced you are gonna need a good looking package
This Carnage along side the absolute Carnage and the amazing yamaguchi will be the best Carnage figures for me. The mafex is the absolute representation of the 90's character, the legends a good cheap figure and the yamaguchi a generic super dynamic Carnage.
I have this figure and it looks incredible, poses well and has plenty of accessories, and I would love it if not for the left arm on mine wanting to fall off at the bicep sometimes. Every time I see it on the shelf I worry about that when I think of posing it since the peg still holds just well enough so it doesn't just fall off when standing on the shelf, but even the slightest bit of too much weight or movement and it'll go. The Fwoosh showed it in his review and that alone for me was enough to remove any interest in getting any other MAFEX figures for me. I know they make good figures, heck their Episode VI Boba Fett I was given as a gift a few years ago and it had no QC issues and I love that figure, but that's the only other one I have. This was the first one I actually bought with my own money and I just can't risk running into QC issues like that on more expensive figures. Still it looks incredible, it's in my Marvel Legends Spider-Man villains display and I doubt I'll ever need another Carnage figure.
The best definitiv Carnage figure for me are both select versions ,the height didn't bother me that much symbiotes change their height everytime. But that Detail is not even comparable to the newest Marvel Legends absolute carnage. I bought the select Carnage after the Marvel Legends one and i was suprised it even had Ancle Rockers not even the select venom sadly move that well.
