vito running the city is the best option in the game. Cassandra LITTERALY fucks everything up and kills the entire city and Burke gets drunk and dies. vito is the only one who deserves to be boss
"And Vito? He still lives in that penthouse at the top of Marcano's casino, looking out over the city he owns" ~ The Ending we might not need, but the ending to the Scaletta story that we deserve.
You rarely have this kind of ending in media, the bad guys always have to perish they want you to believe that crime never pays, and that they all end miserable. In real life things are quite different and we all know that.
Having played Mafia II and Mafia III, the ending where Vito runs the city and Lincoln becomes a drifter makes the most sense to me, and it really seems like the only "good ending". None of the other endings really fit Lincoln's personality. He never cared about wealth and power, and he was loyal to those who helped him. The fact that Vito is the only one who doesn't become a tyrant just proves he's the best choice.
Burke: [Acts aggressive] Lincoln: You wanna die Irish? Cassandra: [Acts Aggressive] Lincoln: You best watch yourself, or else the swamp will eat you up Vito: [Acts aggressive] Lincoln: I’m sorry please don’t take the fresh bucatini!
Cassandra rules? The city becomes a Ghost Town Burke rules? The city becomes the most lawless one in the US Vito rules? The city flourishes Vito is the most competent Underboss Lincoln hired. It's pure logic
The only reason the city was a ghost town with cassandra was that she was a black woman, the government didnt want the mafia to be run by a black woman so they tried their best to kill her
@@rikifromplanetk8305 The reason why the town turns to a ghost town with Cassandra was because she was basically killing every officials and the govmt didn't like that so they pulled all their resources from the town.
they fooking deserved it, Lincoln wouldn't be no where near Marcano if it ain't for their help. Vito is the most sane one so even i too gave him all the districts and popped the rest two
@Chirag Naik vito doesnt know tommy, its not his fault. If he knew who is tommy angelo like he knew leo galante, he would warned him to go away from the city because it is not safe just like what he did to leo
Vito will always be my favorite Mafia protagonist. He's the most fleshed-out too because unlike Tommy or Lincoln, we actually get to see him grow up. We saw him as a little kid coming to America, going through WWII as an 18 year-old, going to prison, then going through the series of events that led to his exile to New Bordeaux. We literally grew up with him, and this is why this ending is special.
@@EduardoSalamanca1960 ohhh yeah lol 😂 I haven’t played Mafia 2 in a while and plus when I got the definitive edition I hadn’t played Mafia 2 in a while so I wasn’t really paying attention because I wanted to get to playing 😂
“Man murders an unknown number of individuals, took down an entire crime family by himself as well as committing mass theft along the way for fresh bucatini”
I liked Burke. I also liked the ending where Vito died. It seemed like the fitting dark ending to a long dark story. He deserves to rule though after how mafia 2 ended.
@@Mensmoocher you don’t have to give Vito all districts, he can still rule if you leave, just make sure he has the most districts. You can allow all of the underbosses alive.
It's clear by the ending that Vito is the best choice for everything. He doesn't turn into a tyrant and he lives a life full of success. He's the only one at that table with the experience to pull it all off.
Burker: *A long and boring explanation as to why He should get the district* Cassandra: *A long and boring explanation as to why SHE deserves the district* Vito: Bu- Lincoln: AND THE WINNER IS VITO!
Giving All Districts to Burker Video = 172k views Giving All Districts to Cassandra Video = 192k views Giving All Districts to Vito Video = *1.1 Million views* I think we all know who everybody and their mother prefers the most
Bucatini is just too damn good, man. I'd like to thank the 91 of you who thought this was golden.. I'll whip up some fresh Bucatini for you all and your mother's.
Who can blame them? Out of the 3, Vito was the most sane. Burk probably would have been pretty sane if he wasn't such a fat stinking drunk. As for Cassandra, she's completely mental. Under Burk's control the city turns into a "Lawless Paradise for fools". With Cassandra taking control the city pretty much became a ghost town after the hurricane in 2005. Under Vito's control, the city became a center of business and tourism. Comes to show which one can actually make something mediocre into something Great.
If you chose to kill Vito he’s the only one who doesn’t cry, instead he tries to attack you after taking a bullet. He doesn’t even go down until he eats 3 more after the first one.
Lincoln: Here Vito have all the districts. Vito: Wow Lincoln this is incredible! Thank you so much. You're an incredible person and I'm proud to know you. Lincoln: It's nothing personal. Vito: WTF BANG!
If you rule with just Vito, there should be a black and white picture of Bucatini hanging on Maguire's wall with red yarn connecting it to Vito and Lincoln.
+Thunderdog gaming 20:14 He continued to fallow Sammy's example, he cares about people. And now Vito is the underboss (or capo) of The Clay Crime Family same thing with Burke and Cassandra.
Scaletta's the only one of them to actually deserve the city. Not only is he the only one to run it well, but after all the hardships he faced and the loved ones he lost in the previous game, he deserved a big break.
Leaving everything to Vito is by far the best ending in my opinion. James isn’t pissed with Lincoln, Vito unlike all the other underboss is actually successful, he finally gets what he’s been after the past few mafia games he’s the boss now.
Tommy Muska one of the major failings with cassandra is the emotional stakes are non existent. Vito had a whole game to establish his stakes, and with Burke, at least we visibly saw his son get killed. We only have cassandras word about hers, and giving how enigmatic the character is, we can't even trust that. Also, isn't the fact that her saying we have the potential to do good for the hollow a touch disingenuous considering the Haitians were attacking it at the start of the game?
😂😂😂 🤣 bro! Think about Lincoln standing there like 👏 not what i wanted but it's that with his fingers between fingers. Looking into his eyes. Then Vito smiles.
Vito is definitely the best choice if you’re only want one underboss. He actually improves the city. If you choose Cassandra, the city gets destroyed, and if you choose Burke, he dies and people start fighting for the throne.
The best ending is rule together. Lincoln comes and beg for help and he gets it. I am always the diplomat in games like this haha. Keep the crew together. Be fair. It is what i think.
I tried my best to be fair and diplomatic, but ultimately chose the "Leave Town" ending because that fit most with Lincoln's character. Balanced out the districts I handed out, though in the end the game gave the city to Vito since he had JUST a little more territory than Cassandra and Burke. I'm happy with that, my man Vito deserved a taste of the big time.
Lincoln and vito are the only ones who know how to run the city however Lincoln's role in the mafia role doesn't fit his character very well because he always wanted to move out to California he would've been your typical clean up guy or a bodyguard but choosing the rule together ending just breaks his moral
Well, there were a few odd missions in SA (Like breaking into Area 51) and i guess the way you took over territory was just killing a bunch of gangsters and being done with it...But meh.
@@enigmaticsoul6798 Vito never liked Lincoln, and he is right not to because their styles and purposes are very different. Vito have become a typical mafioso, while Lincoln is just a uncontrollable and unpredictable killing machine. He is a liability. I think it is pretty clear that Vito only played Lincoln's game until he can stablish himself in the position he always aspired. As seem in the end where Lincoln left the town, Vito sucessfuly brought their businesses to the legal side of things, to adapt to the 'new age' Marcano was preparing. If Lincoln choose to rule together, they will keep illegal practices such as drugs and arms trafficking, gambling and prostitution. It does not fit modern times, so Lincoln's empire is bound to fail. And Maguire will be waiting.
@@vitoscaletta7801 I agree but at least she's still with you in your heart buddy that zuppa di pollo was amazing I cooked it myself and I saved it for you
I think this game was kind of unfair with the way they picked the districts. Literally anyone who’s played mafia 2 (which is the majority of mafia 3 players) would pick Vito. He’s been our protagonist for a whole game. We’ve seen what he’s been through and how he’s been crossed over. I literally gave him everything straight away. The other two don’t have a single redeeming quality. Burke (I think that’s his name) is somewhat likeable but the woman is downright annoying.
Can we appreciate that they kept the same voice actor 6 Years after Mafia 2? And he even sounds very the same as 2010 Vito. Well 1940 Vito actually but you get the point!
@@rocksays6110 Well people change their voices the more they grow. When you're little you have a Subtle Voice and later but it depends you have a Deep voice. So maybe that's the same here. People change their voices the more they grow.
15:57 I love how Vito shakes his head as if he knows what's about to happen and yet still approves. ''It's alright kid, it's alright, it's just business''
Bruh even if joe pulled the trigger he still drove him there doesn't matter if he pulled the trigger vito was still was apart of it and even says "guy deserves it then" on the way to kill tommy he would have easily shot tommy if the roles were reversed so what's point here?
Vito Scaletta: if you can hear me I will always keep you alive in my mafia series and I will never kill you and Burke but Cassandra needs to die but I like you and I'll never kill you in mafia 3 even though I know you and Joe killed Tommy Angelo but he was a rat to the saliera family so you mead the right decision to kill him and as you know I would never kill you in my mafia franchise you are my best character ever Vito Scaletta.
So i live in Germany and my mom makes some beautiful Spaghetti. Is there Bucatini in Germany cause I so would like to do that. Also she has a Machine so she can make Pasta of her own.
@Noob Scalp hey y'all, I started Mafia 3 on the 28th of october and only completed it yesterday! I highly appreciated playing it and loved every minute of it. Such a massive game indeed.
Hard Shell John04 wwtf seriously bro PS store? I know its there on PS now but I don't want that man cause it uses internet to stream and it lags like hell
Honestly this game had so much potential. I think if the devs had just taken an extra maybe 2 year hiatus to fix the bigger problems and add some stuff then this game could have been so much better
I do like the extra detail the developers put in with what happens if one of the under bosses doesn't like how Lincoln decides who to give the district to, it's adds to the player experience. Chances are had Vito and Joe been able to stick together in Mafia II then how it ends, if one chooses to leave, then Vito would have his own empire instead of working for someone else.
*Spoilers* Scalettas friend, Joe, who he thought died by Leos hand, is now working for Leo. Scaletta hated Leo because he thought he had gotten rid of Joe.
Nah I ruled with all three. Burke is damn near family his son was your best friend growing up and into adult hood. Lincoln even called burke uncle burke at the very beginning. Cassandra could've killed Lincoln at the beginning when you took out baka but she didn't. That and she's possibly your half sister. Vito because of mafia 2 and he's always did things the right way and really seems to have taken a liking to Lincoln genuinely... It didn't feel right killing any of them especially burke.
@Eftinoiu Eduard she never said all districts should be hers lol. She actually insinuates the areas that best fit her smuggling style should be hers. Same as Vito and Burke with their areas of expertise.
in my playthrough i kept them all equal but a lil partial to vito, but damn man i didnt know they would actually fall out...burkes death scene gave me goosebumps...the voice acting was top notch as always with mafia 3 but god damn i could feel the pain...amazing work
On my first playthrough I tried to distribute the districts based on the mob I thought would rule if Marcano wasn't there. All the Bayou went to Cassandra, Vito got all downtown districts and Burke got the industral ones. Turns out I got the good ending cause Vito had one more district than Burke and Cassandra, and I couldn't be happier. On my second playthrough, yeah, those two never had a chance.
Honestly, Vito seems like the most reliable option. From what I know, (I haven’t played Mafia III, so bare with me) he has the most experience, and he gives actual reason unlike the other two who just keep saying “I want this territory, give it to me”💀
