You can also let Salvatore open the door on the left side of the mansion. It's especially hilarious how he opens it. So the mission is about stealth and keeping it low profile, but after Salvatore opens the lock from the door, he kicks the door in like an absolute madman. I have to laugh everytime it happens.

The guard at the corner of garage listen this and come to kill you. So, it's better enter that door with the key of another guard or enter to the kitchen avoid the madamme.

Fun fact: Salvatore in the original Mafia in the italian language speaks in Naples dialect meanwhile in the remake he speak in an sicilian dialect.

the dialogue in this game sounds like they have recorded a few lines, went for a coffee break then back in the studio to record some more, it doesn't feel like they are reacting naturally. For example when Luigi brings the tea or coffee or whatever and Don Salieri say "thanks Luigi". But heh, it was 2002, can't blame them.

@@jacksonbear1 yes, I was watching a video on the making of Batman Arkham City video game and how Kevin Conroy (Batman ) and Mark Hamill (Joker) are standing next to each other while recording and reacting to one another and the result was amazing. In this first Mafia game they probably did not have such a big budget or a studio to have all the actors maybe in the same room at the same time so maybe that is why the dialogue sounds weird sometimes. Hopefully the remake will be awesome.

@@jordycomic144 It is no trash. It is amazing game. The original voices in Czech is better then the English one. But i have the idea, that you hate this game. And that you are just can't accept that a lot of people love this game! Much more then de remake, that have less influence then the original.

During the briefing cutscene, Don Salieri says "...Paulie and Sam are taking care of the witnesses as we speak...", but if you check the briefing room after the cutscene ends, you will find Sam reading a magazine. This is a deleted and erroneous 'cue' for Sam in the PC version; however, it was fixed in the PS2/Xbox versions to Sam and Paulie interviewing one of the witnesses.

Finally a walk trough with good driving! I was always careful with the driving every time as well whenever I played. Didn't have patience to go according to the law . Not every time

The one thing I did a lot on this mission was take the subway to reach Salvatore, steal a car and just walk up to the house then drive off with the sliver sedan.

@Kacper W your free ride mode is just like playing story campaign without any objective. GTA have main and side missions, mafia only got the main story, you also cant buy anything and you cant upgrade anything at all. Mafia 1 is just like uncharted/gear of war but got a way bigger map and you just stuck with it.

@@kelvinbrinkhuis3491 no it wasn’t Salieri is just oh Tom go do this ThAnKs LuIgI And just tells Tom that Salvatore is good at cracking safes DE Tommy is with Salieri in a protected car do you know why because if morelo were to kill or get Tommy arrested it could give ghoulotti enough time to get dirt on Salieri and bring down the family and now Salvatore isn’t just Ok cHeIf he’s an actual unique character who speaks some english but mostly Italian Just because you have nostalgic memories doesn’t make it good

When you view the villa before actually getting into garden, it is pretty basic design and texture then it is after you get into the garden and villa itself. 9:01 is the best example for this.

This road to Oak Hill is short but it so steep that you are going way too slow up it. There is another way to Oak Hill from the other side from Oakwood. It is alot longer road but not so steep and you can go faster. However, there are much more bends on that road.

If you kill everyone at the beginning of the mission, the Prosecutor will flee from his villa upon arrival. No matter how long you wait the Prosecutor will not return home until you've opened the safe.

I was able to enter the villa without killing anybody and after safe robbery we came back to the back entrace withou stealing limousine.

The original Mafia had a better level design than DE which is a low budget Mafia III ripoff, that doesn't even capture the kind of experience from the original. The only stunning thing are just the graphics.
