I know I would NOT RECOMMEND this lens for video at all.

I think that hotshoe screw is for mounting something like the godox ad200

You are correct I didn’t think about that during the video. Really you can mount anything using it as long as it has a 1/4 screw fitting.

haha indeed, probably need to reshoot this one. It was a third-party sigma lens, my sony lenses don't hunt for focus that bad.
