Permafrost is very apt for the weather in Scotland right now. Thanks for featuring Magazine again, all time favourite. May I suggest their truly epic track 'You Never Knew Me' preferably from their live Manchester performance in 2009 or from the album 'The Correct Use of Soap.'

HUSKER DU song NEW DAY RISING 👏👏👏 Sometime in the future please at your leisure this song and album holds a very special place in my dark dehydrated little heart it's a long story but it's one of the most precious moments of my life and slightly spooky

That song came from the studio album"Secondhand Daylight"Howard Devoto was a big fan of Captain Beefheart whom I believe was a big influence in the band's musical arrangements.

Yes, 'Give me everything' is a great track, one of many from Magazine. There are a few versions of this one, I like the live ones from the album 'Play' with Robin Simon on guitar and Manchester 2009 with Noko playing. Both superb!

Magazine are one of my favourite Bands, though I have hundreds of fave Bands, so people tell me. They have a very special and unique sound musically and especially vocally. Howard Devoto of course, is originally from The Buzzcocks. My fave Magazine album is "The Correct Useof Soap", not a bad song on it. "Because You're Frightened" 3:54 2. "Thank You (Fallentinme Be Mice Elf Again)" Stewart 3:48 They have many songs worth a listen on your REACTION You Tube site. I would highly recommend "Shot By Both Sides" or any of the above. @heathcornbeef I work outside all day and hate the heat too...but its been so wet and so " cold" ....nature is suffering....not enough insects for fledgling birds etc.....we need a bit of warmth. Its the same temperature here my friend.....seems the rest of the world is on fire 🔥 Nth America, east and south Europe is hellish!!!! Thank our lucky stars eh👍

@@heathcornbeef I’d be at home waiting for that call that they were ready and everything was packed up mate .. otherwise you become their personal butler for the day 🤷‍♂️… im lucky now , cos I’m 61 I’ve done so many favours for friends n family I’m allowed to carry the sofa cushions instead of 1 end of the sofa 😆.. one of the VERY few perks of getting on a bit 😝 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My body is so FARKING BROKEN that i don't have to lift anything heavier than a bottle of milk and have given up truck driving although I'm not giving up my licence it's a few thousand dollars to get a class 4 heavy truck license and i might need it again one day BUT I HATE DRIVING TRUCKS TOO MANY IDIOTS ON THE ROADS WANTING TO PLAY CHICKEN WITH 40 TON'S of metal it's frightening sometimes and tiring

@@SPKdesign1 yip i don't like the direct sunlight either or heat i like overcast patches of rain and low temperature .we have a hole in the ozone layer above Aotearoa so we burn very quickly here burn time in the sun less than ten minutes sometimes when it's bad skin cancer is a big killer here it's taken two of my uncles and three friends 😭

I'M seeing Howard with THE BUZZCOCKS in November YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEE but the gig I've been waiting for most of my life is also in November BOB MOULD from HUSKER DU BOB MOULD BOB MOULD BOB MOULD BOB MOULD we are waiting for you to grace us with your awesome nature and music. On a side note I'm going to see THE PIXIES and PEARL JAM same gig in November I've seen them both 3 times absolutely love them but BOB MOULD IS A BUCKET LIST GIG FOR ME

Aye the freezer is full wi square sausage but Ive ran oot o tattie scones , bought tatties last night , so it’s crack on wi that today . RU-vid is an awesome resource in terms of cooking and self reliance , in the last 2 months Ive successfully learned to make Lorne Sausage , Tattie scones and just last week the big one … Scottish morning rolls .. !! 😃 Ye can see where I was goin with those 3 not so random tutorials 😂 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Devotos F lyric ruined this beautiful track : he cast a permanent shadow on it. Also, does Devoto actually *sing* here? Would have been far better to have let this great music be enjoyed as an instrumental
