I had one of these that’s for my iPhone 12, which I only got rid of in September I also used one of the max decks in my car and they never fell off once! I couldn’t believe how strong those magnets were. I used another one on the side of my bedside table, and again had no issues. The only issue I did discover was that the back of my phone after several months of use no longer stuck to some other MagSafe accessories. I don’t know if the magnet array had affected the magnets on the back of the phone.

3m tape need 24 hours before applying any weight for it to fully adhere to the surface.

Left pocket liberation! I picked up a MagBak case and wallet, I went with the Nappa Black, for my S22 Ultra. It works great and gives a lot more options.

I thought the phone wallet was gimmicky when they first came out, but now after using one, I really enjoy not carrying around my actual wallet! And this also forces me to only keep my essentials so I don't carry unnecessary cards / receipts so it just saves space in my pockets :)

@@NathanLemoine My only gripe is the heft. I've been a Note user since the Note 4. I've always used OtterBox cases but the MagBak is by far the heaviest case I've ever used. I know I have to factor in the magnets, tempered glass screen protector, wallet and cards but still- wow and let's not talk about the girth. Carpal tunnel might be in my future but my phone is protected

Hey Nathan, thanks for the review! How is the wallet holding up after a year? I've heard some people saying it just tore apart after a few months, so I am curious whether it's your case too... I'm really inclined to buy the case wallet combo from MagBak for my new phone, but since I'm in Europe, the price will be a bit higher and I don't want to waste my money on something I would eventually need to replace soon.

I have been using the tan wallet every day for 5 months, and it still looks new. The only change I notice is that it is starting to develop a patina, which looks beautiful. If you do not like the look of patina, I recommend getting the black one.

What about the clear case? Which one is better on the magnets? I heard the Magbak clear case is slippery on vertical position when is snapped into a metal surface… I wondered if its the same case for the solid cases/solid colors Magbak cases

How many cards do you you put in one pocket with cash in the other?

With the wallet I keep 4-5 and usually a single $20 bill! Just keep in mind, the leather will stretch based on how many cards you put in and it doesn’t go back, so choose your most important cards and keep that same number or else they’ll fall out easy if you go fewer than that! :)

I recently bot a magbak for my iphone 15 but the case is far too smooth and slippery. I am in the process of trying to return it but the Magbak site does not recognize my email or order #. Also there is no telephone support number or email support on their site. This sucks.

I personally don’t have magnetic car vents so I can’t test with out for you. But I think if there’s enough surface area on the vent itself then it should because the magnets in this case are very strong!
