Magbounce, Portrait Photography with small modifiers

Depends on what flash/ strobe you use . Being made by same manufacturer these are meant to compliment each other. With smaller flashes Magbounce its a better choice if you use only one flash . If you have multiple flashes/strobes the Magshere its better option because you have the option to control and restrict the light spread .

It’s working better than anything outdoors because its very efficient to bounce the light without wasting much of it. It has to be still close to your subject but its it works.thank you!

I have an RGB lamp on the back , i turned off on some pics . I have it as practical light for video to give more depth but i use a small RGB battery portable video light on many of my shoots in location because if i dont know the place i can use it to give more interest to the background . These lights are cheap and small and a 20W light at 20%power its bright enough to throw some color on the background .

I use a Zhiyun 60w bicolor RGB most of the time or the Zhiyun Fiver. It has to be RGB light to be able to change the color . Any other manufacturer will work too if the light its RGB . The lights are also dimmable and you can dial in the light intensity to match the scene. These new lights have so many controls that its very easy to make lots of changes to match any scenarios . Also you can use them for fill light and with the Bi color option you can dial the right K settings to match the ambient light.
